the thing you missed it that gaijin knows that its op all along with the plan for it to sell like hot cakes. they nerf it shortly afterwards to minimise community backlash.

@@theScottishKoala In ab, the 262 is 7.3, and due to the way ab's matchmaking works, it can face 8.7s, which really isn't fun.
"maybe TOO good!"...That is the reason I wouldn't get this, gougin will sell a bunch of these and then nerf them back to reality and move on...

@@PugilistCactus It should never happen to any of them since people had to for the most part pay for them...I don't imagine you would be too pleased if you brought a new car and then 2 years later had the company come back and disable your traction and cornering controls and set the speed limiter lower...

the biggest thing that annoys me with this is that its clearly superior in every way to the Su-9, the non premium one at the same BR. it should be the other way around when it comes to premium planes!
then who will buy premium planes if they are worst, they won't stop anytime soon putting premium vehicles lower because it makes a lot of money

@@theScottishKoala dont blame him with vehicles as harrier gr.1 that was the same br as the gr.3 and had more and better (but shorter range) missiles, and 105ÖE that is better than 105G due to being able to carry robot05, and missiles + gunpods at the same time

7.7 is a bit high - MiG-9L is still quite a bit better than this thing. Keep in mind even an F-84 will out turn an Su-11, let alone anything else

@@m1a1abrams3 I mean keep in mind one of those 10.7’s is an inferior F-104 model just with AIM-9J’s, and the other is really fit for 10.3, ever since the nerf at least.
I’m all for seeing an MB-339 and then a Tornado and F-16A later on, plus the F-104S ASA, AV-8B, etc., but we’re not ready for those types of things yet

Only problem. Being a Premium,people can skip straight to it without having previous experience.
Had an Su-11 miss every shot on my F-80A,which was flying in a near straight line with the occasional movement to the left or right. So he resorted to ramming,despite being the only person left on his team.

Weirdly enough, what i got from this video is not only that the su 11 is good but it also shows me how to reset the g meter lol. Its at 0:14 if anyone is wandering
Yeah it’s a useful trick that I also use in turn fights, all you need to do to keep your pilot from going unconscious from G-sickness is to tap the W key to push your nose down for just a second
The fact that this plane is the same tier as the su-9 with way more engine power while the Japanese tech tree is filled with planes with slightly better guns at higher br.

It disappoints me that this is the premium and not the Su-9 but I suppose they're both prototypes. I would say it should be 7.3 with that acceleration but it isn't as bad as the Yak 23 when it was new which was what I was expecting and at least in a 262 you can out turn it it seems.

Yeah, there were two aircraft named Su-9, and two prototypes based on those aircraft both called Su-11... goddammit Sukhoi!
I wanted and expect for Su-9 and 11 to be those Strike Aircraft that predated Su-17 that looked like bigger MiG-21's with bombs and AGM's ... because it would be JUST PERFECT gaijin move to add first swing wing jet into the game but have it locked behind 2 of 390k RP jets xD to increase the grind... oh well... i sure hope Su-9 or Su-11 come to game in one way or another they seem really cool... maybe as foldered planes?

The Su-9 is better in one way: it can carry 2-250 bombs and 1-500kg bomb
Their payload is the same - it is 2x250 or 1x500. Never both.
A fun plane, but the Su-9 Should have been the premium, this is one of the most blatant cash-grab premiums I have seen in a long time.
I’m just thankful it’s not the ACTUAL Su-9 and Su-11... you know, the MiG-21 wannabe’s with no guns and dogshit missiles 😂

@@kajmak64bit76 Su-9/11 with Kh-25? Not sure about that. You got a source? Considering those were dedicated interceptors with K-5 and K-8 missiles respectively, it would make no sense for them to be outfitted with Kh-25’s. Actually the Su-9 was out of service before Kh-25 came in, so I don’t know where you’re getting your information from, but it doesn’t seem right to me

And look in the Images section... you will find the pic there... to.me it looks like it has AGM's or something similar
@@kajmak64bit76 if you’re basing this on a “it looks like it has them” then you need to do some better research. I’ve found nothing whatsoever about the Su-11 ever having provisions for carrying Kh-25’s, and the Su-9 certainly didn’t.

Uhh... no? This aircraft is completely different to the Meteor - much faster, more powerful cannons, doesn’t turn well... it’s basically the opposite of a Meteor!
