- The Su-9 is essentially a Russian rip-off of the Me 262, with poorly made reverse engineered engines, an arguably worse armament, and a lack of cool skins. How, then, is it better in War Thunder? I go over that and more in this fairly successful gameplay video.

Well, in downtier both Me-262 and Su-9 are quite nice. Facing Murica and British jets however...
American jets at the same BR aren't that strong
@@Nothing-yq2gz They are faster, accelerate better, climb better. Basically, they have everything they need to bully you. Me-262 and Su-9 are at the sad spot currently, you often have to rely on enemy being bad than at your plane performance.

@@mr.Cane_Toad you mean .50 cals? Yeah, they are a lot easier to aim at high speeds, and have buttload of ammo, tho damage might be very inconsistent. Me 262 is at the worst here, Mk 108 ballistics is just dogshit
@@gitgood8509 i haven't got the me 262 yet, but the 30mm gun in the bf 110g is a pain to aim but it's so satisfying to kill something with it
Even this thing is better than the Me 262 in EVERY flight performance metric...
The 262 should not be 7.0 anymore imo

Well depend tho, a bit better doesnt mean it have to be 0.3 BR above. Yes it have better flight performance but it harder to use since the gun are slow and ammo are low.
This situation a bit similar to Lim5P - Mig17, lim5p is better but sit at same BR as mig17
It has shittier flight performance the me 262 had a better airframe lmao and the engines are shitty reversed enginers lmao only 2 were build should not be im the game
its a problem with these historical vehicles is that there is no cap how many can be spawned per battle

Honestly I think the Su11 is on par if not better than the vampire and that thing got moved to 8.0.

I played 10 matches with this my pilot got killed instantly 9 times I got 1 kill because it was a spitfire that was already burning and I can't climb cause it doesn't accelerate at all. I have no fucking idea how I'm supposed to use this.
Apparently you're supposed to not start climbing as soon as you can you're just supposed to fly a few meters above the airfield then start climbing after you reach around 500 kmph (or about 310 mph)
