My FAVORITE jeow. Especially with Freshly cooked sticky rice.
Yes! Simple and delicious 😋
Omg!! You are awesome!! I’m Laotian, but I can’t cook. I love jeaow nong. Thank you so much for your recipes. I will try it. Bravo!!

Damn u must have a great teacher!! Very good presentation!!!!! Good job keep up the good work!!!!!! Looks so good!!!
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Thanks!!
Just made this. It smells so good but mine tasted a little bit salty. Also I would recommend leaving the seeds in the guajillo peppers because mine did not have a kick of spice at all.
Thats a great tip! Thanks for watching!
Yum! My mother likes it savory but I like it sweet and super spicy. This goes so well with sticky rice and Lao sausage.
I like it every way! 😊 I love how it taste different depending on who makes it
thanks so much 4 uploading... im gonna attempt to make it like yours... it makes me happy that you are open to Laos foods, not that my thoughts matter but thank you!
My pleasure 😊 I hope your enjoy the recipe!
Question whats the difference if we don't use kiffir leave?
Thank you for asking. It provides a citrus flavor so you could substitue lime zest, lemon zest, lemon thyme, or a bit more lemongrass. Otherwise, you can totally make jeow bong without it and it will still taste wonderful. I personally love the leaves and think it does make a big difference in flavor. But there is no wrong way if it pleases your taste buds. Good luck!
I really want to try your recipe, you did a great job. Kop Jai!!!
Thank you!!
That's one shiny wok

Whats the best dipping sauce for lao sausage????
Jeow bong is my favorite for Lao sausage. If you would like a brighter and lighter dipping sauce, I'd recommend either tomato or eggplant jeow.
Looks so good!
The best! 🥵🔥
THank you for this! I'm going to put carolina reaper in mine! Not even kidding. I love the pain of spicy food :D
Oh yes that will be SPICY! Enjoy!
Thank youuuu
You’re welcome!!!
Does Laotian food have a hot pot? Can you post a recipe if they do.
Yes, we make hot pot sometimes at home.
Omggggg cannot wait to try this!! 🤤 I’m a dummy and haven’t learned to enjoy padaek (YET*)… do you think replacing the padaek with fish sauce would give a similar result?
Padaek is hard to substitute but I think the closest item might be anchovy paste, if you like that. You could also just use the fish sauce and add a little more MSG or a dash of chicken bouillon or mushroom seasoning to get the umami flavor.
There are lots of different padaek brands. The one I find to be less “fishy/stinky” is Tummour Thai brand. Hope this helps.
Great job! Where can I get that wok?
I got mine from the Asian market. They sell some nice ones on Amazon.
How long can you keep the sauce without spoiling?
If you cook and store in very sanitary conditions it can last a month. I keep in the fridge. And I never dip rice/food into the container. I spoon out the amount I need. You can also freeze for up to 6 months.

Thank you!

🥰🥰🥰
Authentic as fuck! :)
Why thank you!!!
MSG...😅😅😅....no clue whatsoever
haha! I know MSG is not for everyone. I really like it so I put it in most everything, even if i dont need too. Its like American's putting ranch dressing on everything.
