Antony Starr as Homelander is, unironically, among the best acting jobs I've ever seen in cinema or TV. He elevates the character so much and just makes it work perfectly
it's really interesting how he seems to change over the course of the show; season 1, he seemed dangerous in a nearly composed way with an underlying barely restrained danger but a capacity to remain calculating when needed. And he's since just continuously gone increasingly off the rails -- by the time we hit season 3, he's got that wild-eyed insanity way more often.
I assume thats to show his (Downward or Evil) Growth, and realizing that "Vought" who had basically spent his life brainwashing him into being afraid of them in the sense your afraid of upsetting your parents, but now hes coming to realize that theirs no one that can tell him what to do and hes spiraling because of it, just my opinion :)

And if he uses his fingers to do a flick it will behead any normal guy or even some supes. For example like we saw in Andrew Garfield Spiderman after he got his powers he was struggling with his new strength as he was casually wrecking things. So you need to praise this guy for this as he has that in check.

Anthony does facial expressions so well. Before he even says a word you can tell he plays a character that can just completely lose it at so many times.

Okay, here me out, this guy has some amazing control over his actions ans emotions. He is just a parallel to Superman but weaker but still the superior in his own universe. And if he uses his fingers to do a flick it will behead any normal guy or even some supes. For example like we saw in Andrew Garfield Spiderman after he got his powers he was struggling with his new strength as he was casually wrecking things. So you need to praise this guy for this as he has that in check.
