It was on this tour that Brian destroyed his voice and he NEVER recovered. There is a DRAMATIC change in how he sounded from 1980 to 1984 (end of the tour) and then how he sounded after (recording of Fly on the Wall and beyond). The depth, the power and the range (chest voice) was fully intact until 1984 and then it just wasn't anymore (he began using a high pitched head voice nasally and more shallow falsetto scream).
He sounds amazing up until 2015, where even then he is still not bad. In this specific recording, you have to remember that musicians don't always sound good until they've warmed up.
@@gryper1690 even live it seems like Brian can't keep up with himself. But it could be him saving his voice since the had to do hundreds of shows and he didn't want to blow out his voice.
This album would have turned out sounding a lot more cohesive and tighter had Phil Rudd played on it! Where was his bloody vacation this time!!!!! It would only be beneficial to the fans if philly was to re-record his drum tracks on this album. They had a lower budget than its predecessor with sir Mutt langue at the helm.
@@lxstudios8608 That's probably more because Mutt didn't produce it. Despite ACDC fanboys loving to adopt this album like some poor stray puppy, the reality is, in my opinion, it's just not a very good album. It starts with the song writing. Only a handful of the songs are any good.
@@eddiemuniz761 the production on Phil's drums gets progressively worse through the 3 mutt albums. the albums are true master-pieces and I worship them in every way. but their production is terrible. that's it. mutt didn't MAKE the band, he didn't bring them to another level. had George & Harry stayed "at the helm", the albums might've sounded different (better), but the songs would be the same
It's cool to hear bands rehearse, especially when the rehearsals are this old!
Just so raw. Thats hard rock to the core =right here!. Pretty much at their peak here with Johnson on vocals.

EPIC DRUMS !
Great drummer. Love Simon. Fly on the Wall, Blow up your Video, Who made Who.😁👊
Bit of a forgotten period of their career really.
Awesome. I have never seen this. Thanks for sharing.😝🤘
awesome
drummer is ass kickin , love Brian .
To waste less time, go to 4:13 for the full take on this song.
cheers big ears!
Or take your time and enjoy hearing AC/DC screwing around and improvising.
real fans enjoy the whole video
How did you find these? This is so cool!
I love this album never understood why it got so much hate??
I've never understood why they never tune it down a step or two to help Brian out. He's nowhere near singing this in E.
Probably didn't want to change tuning just for one song. Also, the song would sound very weird tuned down to D or even C.
I believe they just used this footage for the music video so Brian didn’t even need to try that hard.
Those are tough songs to sing, a lot of them. Ive never heard anyone sound like Brian who tries. It's always a disaster.

@@mattbrabham6351 don't get me wrong Love ACDC & Like Brian, BUT he sometimes just sounds Bad live.
Мощь!
Alguien sabe que amplificador es el de el minuto 1:38?
Brian never could get the same high notes live that he could in studio. That's always seemed strange as hell to me.
On the road Vocal fatigue?
Listen to thunderstruck live at donington
listen to literally the next take he just needed a warm up
Phil Rudd he isn’t
Was this filmed with a telescope?
Probably fisheye lens.
Who is drumming there ?
Avery Camden Simon Wright. He did 3 albums with them.
Daniel Barker Cool I didnt know that.
@@danielbarker3459 he did 2 albums not 3
@@Brokenface FOTW, Who Made Who and BUYV. That's 3
@@SoloDallasII oh yes, well he plays only in three songs on who Made who so I didn't consider that album but technically he did 3

Phil Rudd actually played on the album, not Simon
@@lxstudios8608 I didn’t have Phil’s identifying sound of his that’s on back in black, and for those about to Rock Wow!!!!!!
@@eddiemuniz761 Yeah he sounds pretty different on the Flick of the Switch Album

Great videos but that is either really bad camera work or terrible editing or both!
This guy couldn’t carry Phils stool
