- Since today happens to be the 18th anniversary of the band performing at VH1 Studios in London, here are a couple of songs from that gig, "Riff Raff" and "Go Down".
This video was taken from a VHS-to-DVD video recording which was downloaded via torrent some time ago.

AC/DC is the greatest rock and roll band on the face of every planet. They are untouchable and incomparable, on every level.
Yes apsolutely, and Angus Young is the best rnr guitarist ever. They are mocking me when I comment it on lists of greatest guitarists. But they are calm, when I said Hendrix is better virtuoso, SRV is guitar master, Clapton, Knopfler and many other greats could produce the genius sound, but NOBODY could do the sound and SHOW like Angus. Nobody could entertain the audience like Angus. There isn't other hardest working main in bussiness and will never be, then Angus Young - one and only!

@@spookedhorse I don't know.. maybe is true, maybe not. I just enjoy his (and double trouble band) music, and think he is real deal. Maybe he is just too branded.. There are really many other real deal guitarists who are not branded, and only electrc guitar fans know for them, and litteraly thousounds other who are masters, but they are branded only localy, in their own countries. Examples:
1. Virtuoso players who are not wordly branded, but guitar fans know them very well: Robin Thrower, Butch Trucks, George Thorogood, Dickey Betts, Pat Travers, Allen Collins

AC/DC are 2nd to None when it comes to Blueprint Rock , alway Raw and Rocking never sophisticated or Polished

For the first 30 years after Bon's death I couldn't watch Brian doing Bon songs but he's earned the right to. This is great 👍
I love AC/DC and I love Brian Johnson doing Bon stuff. He never attempted to be Bon, he always did things his way and I love it. One of the few bands where they get a new singer but still have love for the original singer.

Go down is too much for Brian, some songs should have stayed untouched.

Brian was great on all of these songs. Just doesn't sound like bon because he's a complete different singer with a complete different voice but why does that gotta be a bad thing?? I am so glad they decided to press on and get someone else just as unique instead of stopping or trying to find a bon clone.

What I love about Brian Johnson as AC/DC’s singer is he can make every Bon Scott era song sound like Brian had always been the singer of the song if you forget for a moment Bon originally sang it. Some replacement singers make it sound obvious they weren’t the original singer simply by sounding too much like they’re covering the song, whereas Brian sounds like he’s owning it like he’s meant to sing the songs.
A great example is Van Hagar could never do the David Lee Roth era of Van Halen justice because Sammy sounded too much like he was covering another band’s song and just singing it better than Roth without the attitude that made Roth great. Another example is Ronnie James Dio can’t do Ozzy era Black Sabbath justice because he tried to force-feed his more 80’s Power-Metal style into Ozzy songs where it doesn’t fit.
Brian on the other hands didn’t completely reinvent AC/DC’s sound, and he sang the songs less like he was covering them and more like Bon would’ve wanted; “sing my parts but do it with your own swagger”. And Brian does just that. He’s in my opinion the greatest replacement frontman in rock n roll history. He has no ego and gladly sings as many Bon-era songs as the band wants, and does so with honor and also his own personality. I’ve grown to prefer his vocals on Dirty Deeds, TNT, Whole Lotta Rosie, Jailbreak, Shot Down In Flames, and High Voltage. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a ton of songs I prefer Bon sing, but Brian has put his heart into those songs for decades and his performance shows for it. ❤ Brian Johnson
This is the ultimate way to see AC/DC as a pub band, the simplicity of their set up, just five gifted musicians belting some rock n roll.

Everyone is commenting on AC/DC playing a rare Bon Scott era powerage song but what about one of the only two songs on Let There Be Rock that have been completely forgotten! GO DOWN! 🤘 Personally I would've loved to hear them do the song Overdose live at least once. Such a jam as well
AC DC is one of my favorite bands ever. The blues influence with the rock n roll gets me jumping and moving everytime I hear it!

March 25, 1996 Pittsburgh Civic Arena is the last time I saw AC/DC, Rudd just came back which made it the same line up used on Back In Black. Great show and was the loudest indoor show I have ever attended. My entire childhood through my teens AC/DC was my band, legends. RIP Malcom Young.

Great two song set. But can you imagine if Bon Scott was still alive and had done these songs? Brian has lungs of steel. But he can't replace the monster that was Bon Scott. Brian doesn't have the presence, style, control of the audience and magnetic ownership of his songs. There has never been an equal.
