Exactly my problem right now. Having vicious spasms. Think I threw my back out from doing traveling lunges. Hurt it trying to get back in good shape. Go figure lol.

I agree, I have 2 herniated discs in my lower back and 4 in my neck from a car accident. They did heal on their own but I suffer from muscle spasms in my lower back now and I've been looking for alternatives to help without relying on muscle relaxers or any other meds.

For the past several hours I was suffering from worsening low back spams and thought I was going to pass out at one point. I found this video, did the one exercise with a tennis ball, but it crushed after about 20 mins. I finished with my dogs Kong toy laying near me 😂. Worked like a charm. The pain was pouring out of me, I haven’t felt relief like that in years. Thank you much 🙏🏻 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Your tennis ball exercises helped relieve HUGE knots in my lower back after 5 hours of gardening. Here's my question..how long does it take to get rid of all the knots? I've been doing doing the exercises shown in the video for 7 days, several times a day, but still experience lower back pain especially when getting out of bed in the morning. I still have quite a few knots. thx

1:30 in the morning and I can’t sleep, can’t move, can’t walk becuz my lower back is spasming so badly. I’m tried these and see a small improvement. Will continue to do the move the next few days. Thank you Doc!

I have been having this pain for over a year now! Going to try these every morning/night. What position would you recommend sleeping in if you have pain in your lower back on one side and also the shoulder on the other side?
Thanks for sharing! When i have lower back spasms, the first 2 to 3 days i am unable to move. I ice the area and use ibuprofen until i can move and tolerate the pain, then i have done some of the moves your showed. Will try the others. Hopefully wont have a spasm anytime soon. There are no fun!😢

Seriously!!! You are my life saver. I had a back spasm this morning. Tried everything starting from ibuprofen 2X morning , 2X afternoon. Then went to pharmacy afternoon to buy cramp sprays. No improvement, pain still at 8. It was 7 pm, no improvement. That is when I found your video. Did the tennis ball exercise, pain drastically went down from 8 to 2. Thank you so much. I will repeat this tonight, hopefully I’m completely alright tomorrow. Thank you once again. My father has arthritis, so he gets muscle spasms frequently, do you think this exercise will help him as well?

Hello sir. I always watch your utube. Ive been suffering a tight and pain in gluteus medius, is it also release the pain? What exercise can help me from reduce the pain in gluteus medius.
I just started getting back spasms last week im in bed doing the first excercise im feeling a little bit better now with my ibuprofen 800mg now too ty they hurt like h last week😊
I turned fast on one side during stretching and got muscle spasm in my lower back and hips, I was so locked that I couldn't even move and somehow came home and fell to the ground for 40 mins till it automatically went away. Please make a video on what to do during this situation

Hiya the problem i find is my legs wont give relief because the knees can go to the chest im.extra flexi apparently which means i struggle to get a good stretch. Severe pain in the red area in the picture just above rear pelvis bone. Can i ask would a miss aligned hip joint cause this?
I been having severe Back right Spasm ever Night 4 weeks emergency just keeps giving me spasms pills HELPS but i want to fix the issue NOT just Bibble Gum it with pills i TRY not to Sit or lay down much besides bed time and i stay active around the house included walking 15 mins walks every hour still NO THING HAS Helped.
But i will try these i have been doing Non wiper Cobras , Rocking and tilting the hip still no help but the wiper thing on my back HELPS MAJOR WHENi have to get up in middle of night for ladies room. Even then my back will spasm when i sit on toilet ONLY between bed time. DURING DAY if i have issues i lay on floor and to the lay on back wiper some one else called that tilts but idk terms lol idk what to do have not been able to work in past 4 weeks being my jobs requires 99% time Driving.
This looks good buy I'm concerned that these exercises will set off severe spasms in my back. My physio has recommended similar to me but they worsen my pain. Now he says he can't help me anymore 😢

I've been having deep lower back pain on my right side. Sometimes it can feel like a sharp stabbing pain, and I'll fall to the ground. Based on your past videos I think it's either my right psoas, my right QL, my right SI, or my right prirformis. All 4 seem to be common culprits for lower back and upper glute pain and effect approximately the same / similar regions. Could you do a video on how to differentiate between those 4 common lower back issues, and how we can determine which one is the specific cause of pain? Thank you! great video as always!

Some of exercises in this video are flexion based. Shouldn't those be avoided with buldging disc?

In that calf pain if I bend my leg I'm feeling pain and if I pressure or touch the calf area I'm not feeling any pain sir ... After resting some days i recovered from calf pain... And the calf pain gone to lower back of my thigh and upper back of my knee... Same thing here if I bend my leg in feeling pain and if I touch or pressure the area in not feeling any pain and I'm having this pain for more than 6 months....... So if u know what type of pain is this and what treatment should given...... Pls reply me sir .... I'm really suffering from this injury.

I was trying to read along while you were why in the world is your transcript all mixed up? The times just jump all over the place. I have 13 herniated discs - 7 in my neck 5 in lumbar and 1 in thoracic I also have spurs on my entire spine on both sides. My muscles stay knotted up. Sometimes when I get jabbing pain I can barely move and I holler out in pain while it's throbbing. I have pain pills and muscle relaxers I try to take the pain pill when I can't take care of my bathroom needs. I can't lay down, sit up or stand up without help. I have tried dry heat moist heat, tens unit, needling, traction, ice packs and ultra sound back before Xmas I had my nerves burnt now the first 3 fingers go numb when I'm laying down the pain in my neck is so bad it gives me headaches up the back of my head I can't sweep or mop an entire bathroom without going into spasm. I will try your exercises when I can move again without hollering. I do as much as I can sitting down (sweep dust mop and fold laundry and wash dishes. I spasm so bad that my back stays bruised along the lower back. Sometimes the pain is so bad I just cry. Oh I couldn't get captions to work either.😶🌫️. This started with herniated discs in 1983 and has gotten worse and worse over the years.
