    Oh man, I hope that you will read this. I have watched so many videos on lower back problems that my eyes are going buggy, none of them addressed specifically what I'm feeling and seem to just generalize so much as to not give misinformation, they're almost useless.
    However 90% of what you said in this video is exactly to a t when I am experiencing. Finally I found the guy that is on my screen. learned a whole lot you are very encouraging and thank you for the effort of putting this on youtube.

      I too suffer from this. I take a muscle relaxant twice a day and it's very important to not be idle. You need to very carefully walk around multiple times a day in between rest. Your brain needs to realise that it's ok to release the muscle spasm gradually.

    Listening to most of these videos about relief for back spasms. I don't think these guys have ever had one because you can barely even move around.

    When im in a 90/90 position using a foot rest. Should i relax my legs and let them fall open or use my muscles to keep them together with my feet pointed up?

    Thank you for stating the difference between pinched nerve and back spasm. Both huet but that back spasm😭😭. I will try these when the pain isn't so intense. Thank you much❗️👏🏽

    Very helpful positions for relief of my lower back spasms, especially the recommendation of using a hard floor for the positions. You accomplished for me in half a day what several days of muscle relaxants could not. Thank you!

    Suffering a spasm right now. I’d add one thing to the laying on your stomach position: my hips are rotated and my lower abdominals are also tight, so I work on trying to rotate my hips back to the normal position and press my lower abdomen into the ground.

    I had muscle spasm in August 2023 and it came about while lifting a jerrycan of water to my back, since then my backpains are so much like i live in pain ,it has been affecting my right hand all through to my right leg i have tingles and worse I can't stand cold or ACS, what should I do, what exercises should I do to relieve my back pain

      Thanks for being a member and sorry about2 your spasms. First, you need to focus on calming the spine injury down and not triggering the pain. From there, it would be a focus on correcting the spine. Things that will strengthen the whole spine. I know its not specific but that specificity is based on exam, needs, etc.

    Why does this happen to me so often? Is it linked to scoliosis? It usually happens out of the blue, without any reasonable explanation, but this time it was stand up burpees….

    • @DrJoshJagoda
      @DrJoshJagoda  2 місяці тому

      Nope. We call that an antalgia. This usually indicates some sort of disc injury but not always. This tends to go away as the pain reduces. Check out the FREE back pain guide as this has some of the things you can do to help it!
