Appreciate this video; as the original owner of a 2014 ram ecodoesel, now with 290k, I got a GDE hot tune early on (effectively deletes EGR) and have an excellent truck as a result. However, I've been convinced to switch to a 3.0 LZO duramax, so after 10 years will, with some regrets, be selling my ecodiesel. We live rural so all driving has, by definition, never been short trips which I believe has contributed to very little oil use (1/2 US qt) between regular oil changes. I've learned a lot from all your ecodiesel videos over the years - thank you!
My 2015 ecodiesel blew up at 110k (just out of warranty). 20 grand for new motor with a 8 month wait for Ram to ship it. Torn whether to roll the dice and keep it or cut my losses.
Thank you for all the videos on the ecodiesel, its good seeing yours still strong. Quick question I just hit 100k kms and I am thinking of deleting it. You said you are running a celtic tune. Is the company based on uk? Also stage 2?
Eddy, did you ever have to replace the turbo coolant line under the intake manifold? Did you have the reluctor wheel fail (tone ring on the transmission)? Thanks again
@@shermanyoder4481 celtic tune and 3; flo pro pipes. pipes are still good 8 years later. my flex pipe broke a couple years ago though, sorta normal. id find a shop to do it, check kijiji. cheers.

Lots have. What exactly happened to to the motor ? Was it ram that diagnosed the failure?
