    if only you lived here in southwest georgia, i would buy those flat head briggs engines like the one in this video as long as they have compression and maybe spark. these OHV engines everyone claims is so good, tear up quick and cost too much to repair and maintain compared to those flat head engines.

      Sometimes I think it because because they don't get enough air under the hood. I'd rather run straight 30W in them as well, might last longer.

      @@woodysgarage469 multi weight oils seem to not be as good as straight 30W. my experience has always been, straight 30W and my engines lasted a whole lot longer and worked better, 10W30 like is printed on the dip stick? maybe 5 years max before an engine blows and needs replaced down here. straight 30 W and the engines seem to do better in this heat.
