I've been making pies up a storm my peanutbutter cream chocolate banana pie is the favorite for all my family.but I do make a wonderful apple cinnamon glazed treat it uses bread instead of pie shell crust and is ment to be eaten chilled with a warm glass of apple cider. I make a cherry 🍒 chocolate cheesecake occasionally for my friends restaurant and I found these nice jarred cherries from Germany in my local Aldi store and I drain them and fold them into the batter. I like using something other than Graham cracker crumbs too. I recently used AppleJacks cereal for a crust when I made a pumpkin/butternut Cheesecake. Do you spray your pan.? I noticed the ring around the top of your cheesecake, does it rise over the top of the pan.? Mine does all the time, depending on how much I whip the batter it may rise 1-2 inches over the top and I have to gently put it back in as it cools down and deflates. Good morning! The jarred European cherries are the best! I wish we had them available more readily! I did spray the pan this time and I think that affected the cake. I made another one exactly the same way and it didn't rise and the sides came out perfectly! This one rose maybe 1/2-inch.

I use a large pan and make a thin brownie, open the spring form pan and trace out the outer side and use the brownie for a crust then fold the remaining brownie bits into the batter and call it brownie bottom and bits, sells very well.
