Good afternoon Jenny 👋 I really love your late afternoon evening walk😊. Nice to hear tractor sounds. Com on Robert, you can do it 25miles walk 💪 no bus 🤭. Beautiful countryside, train bridge and everything. Pub 1/2 miles yay 😁. Enjoy your time, see you soon. 👋
Hi, thank you...it was a beautiful short walk in the cool afternoon/evening breeze 😊 We had the tractor going past our cottage all week... I love big machinery, so I was happy to see them 😂 Haha, he did it once, but 5-10 miles is about the limit nowadays! 😃 It was a very welcome sign, to the pub! 🍷 🍺 😊
We really enjoyed your walk. Thank you for sharing. Dave did the marathon there and said how lovely it is. Hope you are having a great week. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Very relaxing Jenny as you amble down the road and then on through to the village - a village has a church by the way. Good to hear of your dad and your initiation - those were the days as were the days of steam. He will have caught then end of those years. Such a still day there. If only they could all be like that. Lovely. All the best. Mark
Thanks Mark. I love this little walk... and walking along the Tissington Trail holds some very good, fun memories for me! Ah, OK, after googling it, I think it is, in fact, a hamlet... I would imagine the churchgoers would go to Hartington, which is only perhaps a mile or so from there. Wouldn't it be lovely for all days to still and calm. Have a great weekend, Mark. Take care, Jenny 😊
@@bumblejennybee88 A pleasure as always Jenny. Good to hear of the walk and how special it is. Yeah, a hamlet - that's what I was looking for. No doubt they walked for their service. It would be lovely for the peace and calm. I will have a good one thanks, You too.
Thanks, Jeff. I'm editing the last walk now. Annoyingly, though, the SD card disagreed with the camera towards the end, so I had to resort to posting photos instead. There's always going to be faults along the way! 😊 Have a good week! Jenny
Great vid guys, lifelong resident of Derbyshire, and never done the Tissington trail, although if there's lions tigers and bears, I'm in 😂, I thought it was Judy garland for a minute 😂😂
I remember once being asked about the local wildlife in the North Phoenix Mountain Preserve by two young ladies visiting from Maine. I assured them that there were no four-legged cougars there (two-legged is another matter).
I never made 26 miles in one go. I do remember one time a former co-worker who had moved to Houston was visiting me in Phoenix (we had worked together in Austin, so he was unfamiliar with Phoenix). I suggested we hike part of the National Trail in South Mountain Park. We parked at the western terminus of Guadalupe Road and headed west. The first couple miles were fairly steep, but most of the trail was level along the ridge of South Mountain. At one point I asked him, "Have you ever walked 20 miles in one day?" He said he had not. I said, "Well, you're going to today. That was the ten-mile marker." It had not occurred to him that the trail didn't turn around, even though we had gone west the whole time. He said, "Let's turn around here." We did. We were only 30 years old back then, and our legs were still very fatigued. I wouldn't dare try that now that I'm 57.
Haha! I love that story! When we did the 26miler for the first time I was just 12!! Did it a couple of other times in my 20s. I'm 56 now and although in my head I'm saying yes I can do it, my body would be saying, don't be so stupid!! 😂 Our average nowadays is only around 8 miles! And here in our part of the UK, it's flat!! 😂
Hello Jenny. This way works for me now at the moment until mine is sorted. I'm trying to catch up on everyone I've missed. I've commented on so many peoples video's before realising on so many it hasn't stayed up. Never mind, I'm a new sub for you here😀❤ I can reply fine to my comments but that's about it most of the time. Thank you for your beautiful video's💚❤ I should have said it's Jamie😂 You can just about see on the photo though👋
Hi Jamie 👋 That's really weird that happening, glad you've found a way round it 👍 On some of my videos it has said there's a comment but when I look there isn't one - technology eh!! 😂 I did worry at one point that you might be poorly as you alway do leave me lovely positive and encouraging comments 😃 ❤ Take care, Jenny 😊

@@bumblejennybee88 8 miles is still impressive. You look a lot younger than that. I thought your husband had robbed the cradle.
