As a player with a changeling tribal deck, I now have a theme song.
"oh you're playing a tribal deck? Which tribe?" "All of them."
I'm trying to create a Modern-viable Goblin-Dwarf-Minotaur-Zombie-Devil-Demon tribal deck. It's working in Historic, but it needs some tweaking for other formats. Changeling outcast and universal automaton are the MVPs of the deck.

Perhaps the line 'I am geese' with multiple geese.
Maybe it could have been "some geese", but the problem there is there's only been one card name that has 'goose' in it, and its creature type was bird. 'Goose' and 'geese' are not creature types it seems. He could mispronounce [apparently- just looked it up and realized I was saying it wrong for 28 years like an idiot] cockatrice, but I don't know if that's any better.

Damn toss intruder alarm and something that lets you put a creature into play, either token or from your hand, every time an opponents creatures leave the battle field, and you could just bounce everyone's board every turn...

My go-to everytime I play changeling tribal is Giant Dwarf, but Giant Cat Carrier made me chuckle.
There's always Eldrazi Coward, or Trilobite God... And yet, changelings can't be mutated for some flavor fail reason *shrugs*

Always saw changeling as a liability. They're vulnerable to all of the destroy target subtype abilities. It never occurred to me that there were so many cards that excluded certain subtypes as valid targets.

That reminded me when the whole table were trying to remove my Morophon, but all they had are removals and wrath's that affect all creatures but certain types, like giants or krakens
I swear those land leeches were put in this video for me. Those leeches were some of the first creatures i ever had, along with those thornhide wolves from innistrad. I would never, ever, want to see a leech so big that its a 2/2 with first strike. It could kill a dang lion.
Fun fact, with the Thing in the Ice, you could even use the ameboid's effect to make it lose all creature types, thus bouncing itself (since it says non-horrors and not other non-horrors)

Background story to this: My girlfriend really loves horses and we built her a horse tribal deck. I tried to sneak Game-Trail Changeling in and said it's a horse, which is technically not wrong. However she veto'd the card for flavour reasons not being a horse, despite it looks like a horse for me. Now the running gag in our playgroup became: "Is this a horse?" She really hates this card.
Aw, but Game-Trail Changeling is so cute though. All googly-eyed and confused-looking.

So, one time i built a vampire deck, and made sure i used only hate spells like victim o night and doom blade, so that none of my stuff could get redirected... I thought i was so clever, until someone used a theft spell on one of creatures and I realized i had no outs.

The only reason we haven't gotten a Secret Lair: Pokemon yet is because of the potential rules nightmare when dealing with a changeling copying a Ditto.
What if Ditto was also a changeling?

Funnily enough, the changeling is in fact not a wagon. Vehicle is an artifact subtype, not a creature type.
Its also not a Shrine. as with the latest kamigawa set they publically declared shrine is an enchantment subtype not a creature subtype

Awoken horror is so bad be ameboid changeling because with a response you can make it bounce itself as it’s no longer a Horror if it loses all creature types.
