It is a well-established fact that most groups' Rule Zeros allow heartfelt power ballads to be sung whenever mass removal is played.

The most unrealistic part of this is the blue player actually feeling bad about it by the end
right? As a blue player, the only win-condition that I include in my decks is "opponent losing the will to live", along with optional "ok, next" from them
The irony is that players' boardstate was pitiful compared to the other 3, it was a fair play.
he didn't feel bad, he was angry that'd he'd be willing to stop playing it
or that it wasnt overloaded he only had 2 mana

This is pretty much the typical reaction anyone who has been on the receiving end of a overloaded Cyclonic Rift.... Right down to being angry at the player who wasted spell disruption earlier in the game on something stupid. 10/10
It was more like pointing out that their "So-called friend" has been a dick the entire game up to this point, and they didn't notice till the ultimate betrayal just now. Of course I could be wrong, since it's almost impossible to tell who he is talking to or about.

The part that makes this the perfect commander experience is that the rifting player has no library and will die at his drawstep effectively ruining the game for the three guys who were having a fun time just so he can watch them play from what is clearly a post Armageddon boardstate with just big spells I hand.
I sure hope there was a finisher under that banishing light or that looks like a slog to finish.
Remi is perfect at creating the most fucked board states during these videos.
the two missed triggers, the fact no one has enough lands for anything, the fact that the cyc player used a rhystic cave to cast it and so they couldve spent a mana to stop it being played in the first place, the two identical cards on a board, no one having commanders, graveyards, or enough cards in their decks, its all so magnificent.

Truly captured the feeling of seeing a cyclonic rift.
Played a game the other day where someone built a huge board and they cast cyclonic rift at the end of their turn because of some mana cheating bs. Everyone sighed and then the next guy in turn order was like.. "so he is going to win if we let him have another turn right?"..
*Bing bang boom* slaps down 40 damage on the cyclonic rift player and goes "that's my whole turn but its been dealt with". The second the now defeated rift player left the table, we all said under our breathe "That's what you F*ing get."

@@TepaCu First of all, that's blatantly, objectively, the worse way to order your cards. The actually important part of your board becomes harder to read for your opponents. It's significant enough that it's literally banned at tournaments.
Second of all, they were referring to the overloaded rift being cast with 2 lands.

I find farewell and other white op removal much more annoying or black discard. At least I can play my stuff again. Blue doesn't have great ways to deall with a board and it costs like what 7ish

Remy has a very good voice. As someone who likes to sing I can appreciate how much time it takes to develop that kind of range and tone.
The fact that we all know, Remy does things like make sure there aren't enough lands, or lands of the right types for the spells he puts in these skits. Doesn't stop me from looking at those 2 lands that cast an overloaded cyclonic rift in the slighted.
