Thanks. It's not horrible if you have basic auto body knowledge. Like shaving a big door handle, lol. Send me a pic of your scoop delete. As for the flares, the car is already painted. Currently at the tuner to work out some issues.
Hey dude, found this video looking for a solution to my own project. I wanna fill in the embossed lettering on a tailgate. Do you think bondo would work or is welding my only hope?
@@davou000 have a 23 maverick myself. They are pretty shallow. I'd probably grind inside and around the letters, fill with fiberglass reinforced filler, top with a good lightweight filler, prime and paint. Could make letter patches and weld, unless your a pro, probably warp the panel. Maverick metal is thin
@@refinedautodesigns thats dope advice man thanks. I think I'll go with the filler and then wrap for good measure, but try to match paint regardless. Thank you!
Using a catalog as a mixing board is the greatest idea!
Really enjoy your videos. I recently did my true side scoop delete after watching how easily you did it. You should do wider fender flares next

Depends on how big and deep lettering is I guess. What year and type of tailgate?

Yes. Think there was a part 2 video. Don't remember. Topped with a thin glaze, primed, blocked, painted. Still looks great
