Adding my comment because your videos are super helpful. I’ve been looking for a good bodywork channel to follow for a while. Hope it continues to take off for you!
FANTASTIC.
I've been doing this for a little while now. I use a soldering iron. Back in the day we'd just fill them holes with Bondo or plastic epoxy.
But welding is sooooooo much better.
Glad you made this. Can help a lot of people.
Works great for fixing broken tabs and cracks too.
Without a doubt man and its funny i just bought a soldering gun today for my wiring on the ranchero project and it actually came with plastic welding tips.
Nice work!
Very cool. Keep em' coming!
love the music choice, its been so much edm on car videos lol
Another great video. Thanks brother!
Note - will not work on urethane (thermoset) bumpers since you cannot melt the urethane and fuse melted plastic to it. Need a special thermoplastic filler rod that can be melted with a standard iron - it doesn't fuse with the urethane but instead adheres to it like a glue. Polyvance sells it.
Going to be doing this tomorrow, thanks a lot for all the tips and in detail tutorial !
Great content brother, I love the Honda projects and everything else is awesome and a learning tool!!! Keep up the great work and videos!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks so much man! Means more than you know!
I was just looking at my em1 front bumper last night and couldn’t stop lookin at the nasty lookin license plate holes, awesome content bro! Keep up the good work my dude! 👍🏼
Thanks so much man!
Great video! I have had a small crack on my 99 ek front bumper from the previous owner, and cant find an OEM replacement in good shape. Might just try this instead. Keep up the good work bodevision!
New sub here, amazing work, ethics, filming, editing etc far better than many high sub long running channels, hope you get the growth you deserve
Thanks so much man it means a lot!!
Great video as usual Bode. It’s funny I use to be a skateboarder when I was young as well. Ironic how we progress from skateboards to building nice cars as we get older 🙂
Nice videos the smoke part where you where venting it away from you was funny.
Thanks man and thanks for watching!!
Polyvance has a full line of bumper repairs. Can get pricy but I think I watched everyone of their videos, ha. I do repairs the same way. Good video.
Great video bro...!!!
Thanks man!
Recently found your channel very interesting content thanks for sharing all these tips
Thanks so much for watching!
Did you know it’s look exactly like the plastic we use to repair the base of snow skis? The same welding technique of course without the screen... great video thank you!
Whatsup Man! Hows Everything Going, I Love The Songs You Always Use In Your Videos
Thanks man they are mostly DJ quads songs.
Very informative video dude..I have an EM1 civic si front lip I want to fix due to it being cracked. Now I know it can be salvaged!
yeah man just hit the back with the screen and the front melted together and youll be good to go.
I’ve tried doing that before, can go bad quickly if you aren’t paying attention lol Looks great, nice work sir! 👍🏼 #notificationgang
lol oh yeah man without a doubt! Thanks for watching!
Great fix if you're already doing body and paint, but for a new car ... color-matched bumper plugs are the way to go.
Nice😂😂 brother!!
Thanks man!
👊👊👊
It strange how our minds work. I swear I could smell the plastic.
haha yeah man i think its when there are certain smalls that are just ONE thing we are instantly drawn to that thing. Like how all old VW's small like crayons.
Saludos bro if only i can find that welding kit i can fix my lip .
shave all the things! 😂 YA HEARDDD
haha get it shaved boy!!
Vape naysh
Nice!! Will this work on a crack? I have a crack on my bumper that I would love to fix! Thanks!
yes it will, just will need to prep the front before paint to make sure its smooth.
Like your videos I want you could paint my car
How do fell about just using your method on the front only. This would be keeping you from removing the bumper
Thanks,
Steve
if you were to do that I would make sure the burn is deep to get the bond as good as possible
bet that smells lovely ,
oh yeah like some nice toxic plastic lol
Confirmed: video not boring
haha thanks man!
Is the filler rod zip ties lol
no, its plastic rods that come with the kit.

cool... that thing looks unhealthy as hell. .. love my 3m 90 minute
I did this to my bumper and got a damn ticket for not having plates in the front. Now my plate sits on my dash....
damnnnnn isnt it crazy how different states just have different lawls and something thats fine in FL is not fine in your state.
@@BodeVision yep. CA sucks when it comes to cars. I also got a header and an exhaust and now I habe to smog every year instead of 2.
