I made this for myself about 5 years ago for the first time and i found that it tends to go bad after 10 days or so even when stored in the fridge. It would smell and give my hair a sour spoiled scent.
Maybe add essential oil like peppermint or rosemary ?!?

Is it use before or after hair wash?
Why whole? Can ground/broken be used and strained?
Ground can be used, but I have found that it’s harder to strain without getting rid of all of the little flakes. And when I used it in my wash and go, I got flakes then as well.
Can we store it?....nd for how long?
It has to be stored in the refrigerator and it lasts about a month. You can also freeze it if the batch is too big
