Greetings from North Texas. My wife and I both really enjoy your videos. Especially in the rain and snow. Thank you for braving the elements to make the videos. When I was a youngster, I used to camp and fish with my Dad. Now he was a WWII foot soldier in Europe, so when we camped out, we did it like they did, bare bones. If it rained on us, we put our rain coat over the cot to stay dry. As a kid, if the car or truck was close, I got sent to it. Everyone else toughed it out and made fun of me. But Dad shut them down and reminded them I was just a kid. And really, everyone looked after me. I would not trade anything in my posession for those memories. They are so very precious to me.

Hi Andy, I found your channel by chance last week when your review of the kartent popped up. Since then I've watched hours of your content and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. I'm now a few hundred quid lighter as I've bought a new tent, sleeping bag and other bits and pieces , just need to find an agreeable landowner now to have a go myself. Cheers Vic.

I'm watching you collect stones for the campfire -- where I live if I want a stone or a rock, even small ones, I have to buy them. The soil where I live is so sandy, and zero rocks. Hi Andy what would make a great video is if you did a comparison with putting up a selection of tents on a windy field, I found it challenging when I camped in Cornwall, love watching your camps.

Enjoy your videos! My son and I are avid backwoods/wild, stealth campers as well. Love to hot tent here in Canada especially when it’s -30-40 degrees Celsius outside. Thanks for the great tip’s especially wiping down tent with cloth before packing it up, I needed that reminder!’ New Sub!!

I recently got the exact same knife here in the u.s. through Amazon. Low priced budget blade but the quality is pretty good. Came with a razor sharp scandi grind and one of the thing’s that impressed me was the removable scales and dangler sheath. The ferro rod loop on the sheath and ferro rod were an extra added bonus. For $40 U.S. couldn’t beat it.

Brotha….I’ve gone through lotta different types of tents from ultra light weight to family size tents…get hold of a Bereg series tent of some kind,my only regret about Bereg tents is that I didn’t discover them WAY earlier !! Lil weight to em,but for sewed in internal frame and the umbrella design pop up plus it’s all hand sown!! Can’t beat em!! Amazing tents ! Pricey but worth every single penny! Bereg UP -2 is simply awesome!!

I could never deal with that tent. If I was 20 years younger I would but I have seen other tents that are more reasonable for me. I love the cot! Top rate and much better than the old military cots that we used when camping with the family back in the 60’s. Once the snow is gone I will start counting the days for camping in the yard for practice! Thanks for your great videos. We may be countries away and life styles completely different but all of us campers are drawn together by the love of outdoors, peace and quiet, adventure, great food bye a warm fire! By the time I saw this video it was already a year old and all of the patches were gone! Hahaha…just my luck!
