Good morning Pat. I am new to watching your daily videos and although I have been quilting since 1995 there is always something new to learn. I enjoy your videos very much. Sunday morning here in South Australia and weather wise we are close to the beginning of spring. Can not wait for the warmer weather. Have a great day. Kate
I love your videos, Pat! I'm fortunate and blessed to have a hubby who has a long arm business and does all my quilting! Don't know what I woud do without him! He also does all our many Project Linus quilts, too! Glad we are retired!!!!
Yeah, save the bees. Lol. I need to practice my FMQing. I’m not good at all. But I took a class then put it away. Ugh. I do lines and large zigs but that’s all. I love the circles you do. Tfs. 👏🏻💕👏🏻
The one charm pack quilt is beautiful .The binding looks great! Love the liberty box quilt with the red, white, and blue squares. What a great pairing!!Genius!!
Happy Saturday Pat. Bravo for being able to do free motion quilting again. We need another month of free motion quilting. You have come a long way. My grandfather kept bees and a comfort food for me is honey on vanilla bean ice cream. I have lots of bee fabric but no quilts yet, on my list to do!
Thank you for this great video, it's so helpful to see you doing the free motion. Loving you red and blue quilt and so in awe how fast you put it together, wow! Happy Saturday!🐝🐝🐝
Thank you for the free motion quilting tips. My biggest challenge is how to quilt a project when it says quilt as desired. I usually end up straight line. I really appreciated this video. Now I will go practice with a some ufo projects I have. I do have your How to Machine Quilt book, but the videos are really helpful.
Great video! I’m trying to learn free motion quilting on my domestic machine as I am enjoying it very much. I do struggle with what pattern to quilt where, so this had good ideas. Thank you 🤗
Morning Pat, that was cool, I'm still not brave enough to try quilting myself, maybe some day lol. Good job, I appreciate all that you share 🙂 hope you have a great weekend.
I love watching you free motion quilting! Did you spray baste or lay pieces together and batting holds them together? I want to try so bad but scared. Lol
I can't figure out how to send the picture of my bee quilt to you. It is one I made several years ago with a large bee and flowers that I made called Bumbleebee Dreams designed by Heidi Priedmore. It was one of my first attempts at appliqué. It is on my wall almost every summer.

i do not use qulting glove, I've done this for so many years,we learned to do without them... and I've never found a need for them. But if it works for you then use them
My Bernina regular size machine does accept the BSR (Bernina Stitch Regulator). It works two ways: Mode 1) much like Pat demonstrates where the operator pushes the power pedal and begins moving the quilt sandwich simultaneously and adjusts speed of moving the fabric in conjunction with speed of the power controller. Mode 2) is automated ... the power control is stepped on, but the needle doesn't start stitching until a sensor detects when the fabric starts moving. The faster the fabric moves, the faster the needle goes in automatic syncronization. Both take practice and each quilter I follow has their own preference which mode they prefer. I think there are now other brands of domestic machines that have stitch regulators - maybe some are built in and some are an accessory that can be purchased separately.

Such talent, FMQ and talking at the same time!😉❤️
The liberty box with the checkerboard is stunning!
Thank you 💕
I love your quilt! I've wasted so much fabric trying to machine quilt that I've come to accept that it's not for me.

Pat , I have a question regarding the Teflon sewing machine needle. What other type of sewing is good to use a Teflon needle? Pittsburgh, PA

Hi all, I almost missed it. My brain thought it was Sunday🙄
Does your machine have a stitch regulator?
Those are not on these machines, those are on longarms
