I started free motion quilting about a year ago after watching y your videos. I was skeptical about the not so perfect shapes blending. I am happy to say that they do. Thanks again for all the great things you show us. 😀
You just helped me realize something that had been a mystery to me for a very long time, the extra thick quilting (ruler) foot on your machines IS THE GUIDE to help you keep your spacing distance, wow, I can't believe I never noticed this before! Thank you so much!
First I have been having so much fun with this challenge, I cannot believe it has been 6 weeks already! I love how this paisley feather kind of looks like a peacock 🦚, can't wait to sit and try it!
I have a lap size half-square triangle rainbow quilt to quilt up today, going to try this all-over pattern on it. Can't wait. There are so many small color changes of fabric so I want to stick to one color thread and do a beautiful quilt design. I think this is the one!
You are so beautiful! In every way!! I am always so inspired and when I complete the challenge say to myself,”hey that’s pretty great!” Thank you so much!!!
Love this. It's way easier for me than woodgrain or stipple-meander; I cant do that for love or money...yet. lol. Thanks Angela. Hope to take an in person class from you someday.
This project has been really fun, AND I feel like I've progressed as a free-motion quilter. Thank you so much for your help with these different quilting designs. Could you post some pictures of how you have handled the borders? Did you just quilt over the woodgrain patterns with the grey thread?
I decided to try my ruler foot for quilting the paisley feathers and this improved my spacing. However when use it on a pieced quilt I have difficulty getting over the seams especially where they all meet at corners. Any advice?
You are such a valuable resource for t he quilting community, thank you for your generosity in sharing your amazing skills
You explained that so well… thank you!
You have such a good and friendly attitude!

I think this is my favorite pattern. When I was a teenager, paisley was popular. It was always so pretty.

Beautiful design. I wonder how you keep the three layers together 🤔

This is my favorite
Love the technique and the quilting gloves! Where are they sold?
I think Angela has them in her online store?
Please advise on the border!
Love doing paisleys I've learned from you before. My question also: what do we do for the borders?

I want an all-over quilt design. My quilt is 66 x 84. Would this be good or would something else be better. I don’t want it quilted to death 😊
"unintentional customizations"...I love it
Do the feather paisleys goal one way on the swirl?
What kind of sewing machine are you using?
do you use a stitch regulator on your sewing machine?
thank you!!!!
Which foot is being used? It looks like a ruler foot?
Will you please tell brand name of your marking pencil
What quilting machine is that ?
Danke
I’m having a hard time seeing where I have been to follow for echoing. Any suggestions other than changing thread color?
Marking tool? Anyone know what she's marking her fabric with? I don't see it on her online pages...
got it; she just said it Ultimate Markig Tool.
I found it, just didn't see the link.
Where are the worksheets for paisley feathers?
Please do a time lapse of you quilting a whole quilt!!

Enjoy your tutoring. I wish you could be looking over my shoulder as I quilt like I'm looking over yours!
