This video will show you how to keep ends as healthy as possible even in winter time with the purpose of reducing damage and trimmers so that you can retain hair length.
The only real way to fix split ends is by trimming them. One of biggest mistakes that you can do is avoiding cutting your split ends for fear of losing length, however the fact is the longer you leave split ends, the more they keep splitting the healthy part of your hair causing you to actually lose more length at the end. So you can trim your hair or use the dusting method as show in the video to keep your ends as healthy as possible.
Some good habits for keeping ends super healthy after trimming them, it's as simple as keeping good levels of hydration and lower friction on your hair. This includes applying oils, hair serums, hair mask and reducing how much you wash your hair throughout the week to maintain ends super moisturized during winter time and well in general.

I used to have awful split ends and changing 3 things solved my problem:
1. Washing less often
2. Natural shampoo
3. Less heat

If you have curly hair, they recommend to brush your hair with a wide tooth comb when wet! Only with curly hair however.
That’s correct ♥️ only comb it when you have conditioner on to reduce breakage and frizz on your curls 🥰
Hi Doro, I followed your instructions and my hair got less frizz and more soft..I never used allot of moisture after washing my hair and I guess that's why my ends were so dry and frizz, plus I let it dry naturally and is much better, can tell the difference. Unfortunately I do have to cut a bit of the length because still feels a bit not healthy, but I guess after taking this good habit on how to wash, use the towel and dry, I really hope my hair will get more shy and more health

The sulfate free advice may work for people with normal/dry scalps, but I have an oily scalp, so I have to use sulfates. I went sulfate and silicone free (curly girl method) for 2 years and it destroyed my hair! My hair became limp and thin and I lost handfuls of hair... I went back to using sulfates and now my hair is thick and strong and I lose a normal amount of hair again. I only wash my hair twice a week, so it's not getting completely stripped all the time. And I still avoid silicones that aren't water soluble for the most part. But silicones don't really hurt my hair, so I can get away with using them sometimes. I have low porosity hair and if anyone else does too and can't find a good oil for their hair, Grapeseed oil is a game changer!

@@nataliagil6230 I don't really focus on avoiding non water soluble silicones anymore, since I use sulfates. But I can recommend some silicone free products that have been amazing for my hair. The Garnier Pure Clean shampoo and conditioner are both silicone free, paraben free, and vegan. That's the system I've been using for the past 4 months and I've been loving them. However, my hair is almost down to my butt and my ends get really dry, so I need a good leave-in conditioner! The one I've been obsessed with for over a year is the Ouai leave-in conditioner. It's silicone free, a little goes a LONG way and it leaves my hair silky and beautiful! If you don't mind silicones that aren't water soluble I can recommend a few more products.
I have low porosity hair too, but I can't find grapeseed oil in my place. Can you recommend some other oils?@@karleyjojo

I went though a rough time a while ago and brushed my hair rairly. I love my long hair and have been taking much better care of it, however I now have split ends taking up a quarter of my hair. I'm going to talk to my aunt (who's a hair stylist) and see how much of my hair she has to cut. I'll probably have to get it cut around the bottom of my neck, or halfway up, and I am so upset about it. Once I consult my aunt's, and get the dreaded haircut, I hope to follow your helpful tips to make sure I don't have to endure another horrible haircut. Thank you so much for this video! My spit ends have spit ends. I've started clipping them and hope things get better. I also love to use super hot water when showering. I'm slowly transitioning to colder water for my hair. I've also found that silicone suffocates my hair.
Did you fix your split ends? I also have it as a teen and do you have any tips to remove them?
@@muhammedqali8576 Yes, I think that trimming my hair and using colder water is helping. I stopped using silicone products. I don't use conditioner and instead use something called k18 leave in hair mask and then some cold pressed argon oil. My hair seems less dry and stronger. Only time will tell.

Question:
In terms of the “silk” pillowcases, is the “texture” the important factor? Because the one linked is 100% polyester.
When I wear polyester, my hair tends to get staticky, so I was surprised that polyester would be good for hair.
It's about the texture - the point of the silky/satin texture is to reduce the friction that cotton would otherwise have on your hair. Hope that helps :)

The best hair care video I've ever watched! Is it okay to apply oils before a blow dry? My hair dresser said oils can cause the hair to cook and break when you blow dry (I only use medium heat). Is there any truth to that?

quick question. what are the three most important things to do to your hair? if you could pick only three tips/tricks to use on your hair what would they be?
1-oil
Oil helps moisturize your hair
2-always condition your hair (except the scalp)
3- use any kind of hair masks like “Moroccan Oil” (I think that’s the name of the mask)
The most underrated brand for hair is probably “olaplex” but their hair products are VERY expensive but they all oils hair masks and conditioners and more

I make my hair oil at home
Ingredients: add onion,curry leaves,hibiscus flower, Fenugreek seeds to coconut oil and boil it and let it dry and u can store it In a air tight container

I have a rough,dry, frizzy hair. I've recently trimmed my hair dur to splits. But soon after a week my splits are back. I don't wash my hair often (once a week) I apply hair oil. I don't know what's wrong with my hair.😭😭😭😭
Oh no 🥺 I think you need to drink more water and eat more clean and healthy. Also using a silk cap and applying hair serum when you sleep will reduce friction and which this split ends. I hope this helps you in some way 😘
Hi Shilpa, Perhaps you have used a dull scissor make sure to trim using a sharp scissor for the hair and not a normal scissor 👌🏻
Also try searching for thermal hair cut; basically they cut your hair with hot scissors to seal the hair cuticles, I haven’t done it yet but have searched about it and I want to try it myself
Also use a water filter; because hard water might be the reason for your frizzy hair 👌🏻
if you can’t offered it then rinse your hair with filtered water or better distilled water to get rid of the hard water

You should buy hair masks and serums. Not one of those natural ones, use a good quality hydrating one. Oils is not always great for hair. Also silicones i think could work. Many serums have silicones in them. Silicone hairproducts work great for me.
