- Knowing how to take care of our hair daily is one of those things that might seem so simple but most of the time we still make mistakes that can cause damage to our hair so in this video I’m gonna show you the hair care mistakes, how to fix them so that you know how to care for your hair better. Main hair care mistakes I have done are: brushing hair with dirty brushes, leaving oils for longer periods of time, sleeping with wet hair, air drying hair roughly, using rubber bands on my hair, showering without a hair cover, conditioning the roots. I hope you learn and avoid these common hair care mistakes so that you can grow long healthy hair ❤️ #hairgrowth

I do all of these except number 4, I’m surprised I still have hair 😆
I started using lityleextra reactivate serum for hair growth which has rosemary because my hair was rapidly falling out because of stress and such. I was only looking for anything to try, and this had been recommended, therefore I went for it. Within a few days, I noticed significantly less hair loss when I brush my hair. I also spotted where I initiated getting patches of loss, there had been new growth. It did irritate my skin slightly right on the forehead hairline, so I use a band to avoid it from running down while also preserving the head tilted back during application. The irritation vanished and has not returned, thus if your skin is sensitive or just to be careful, I suggest a hairband to prevent it from running down to your skin. On the whole, I'm so pleased with this serum and can continue to use.
My head feels better with new hair since starting Reactivate Hair Growth Serum.
My aunt was a beautician for years she taught me 57 years ago to never use a brush at all in your hair use a wide toothed comb. Also get the tangles out with your fingers not a brush or comb before you wash and when hair is dry
Hello 🤗 for what type of hair does she's talking about
@@mayatenshi straight hair
@@rawxane Thank you 💖💕
57 ??! This would be true then
The fact u said *57 yrs ago* 😮
I have improved my hair by following these: Including more and more vitaminC in form of orange, lemon, and kiwi, 8 hours of enough sleep everyday, consume nuts such as walnut, peanut, almonds in limited, you can also have fish like salmon. Exercise at least 20 - 30 mins daily. Using mild, pure shampoo, neem wooden comb, scalp massager by liitleextra coconion two times a week. All this is good to control hair fall.
My hair became better as I’ve followed your old tips and new tips, it’s so healthy again, Dorothy you are my hair life saver and my comfort person. Love you 💜💕
🥺🌷 im so honored and so happy to help you out ❤️ love you 😘
Plz tell which tips you follow

(My hair grows really fast by genetics) 🧬
1. Oiling my hair before shower (I oiled overnight and made my own oil)
2. Only shampooing my roots and use conditioner on the ends (sulfate free)
3. Cold hair wash 🚿
4. Rice water & rosemary rinse
5. Using a microfibre towel
6. Used oils from OGX & Moroccan argon oil
7. Brushing my hair a wide tooth comb from ends to roots
8. Air dry my hair (no heat at all)
9. Inversion hair method
10. Listening to hair subliminal’s
11. Scalp massage 💆♀️
12. Taking things slow to turn down my stress and anxiety (stress can make you lose hair)
13. Not dying my hair
14. Getting enough of sleep
15. Eating the right foods and vitamins
It’s a lot to take in and my mom thought I was crazy haha but since then my hair started to grow 3x faster and my mom thought so too after a week, but all my tips may not work for anyone as everyone is different and have different genetics, but I hope these tips works for you even if it’s many tips to take in. Hope it helps 💕🥥

I have watched a ton of these and this is the first time the brush washing is mentioned!!! I love that since I was always looking for good ways to clean them. Thanks!! :)
I just discovered your content and my hair is brown, thick, wavy, and gets knotted VERY easily, there are so many things I do that now I realise I shouldn’t. Two examples are the conditioner shouldn’t go on your scalp. Like I didn’t know that! And that’s why my hair looks more greasy. Another one is the brush one. I had no idea that I should wash it because of all that. Now I will start doing that all the time. I am going to follow you and hopefully I will see some changes. Even if it’s a small change I’ll be happy! Tysm for these tips! I will edit this in a few months if I can and report back!

Great post! As someone who is passionate about hair care, I couldn't agree more.
I’ve been needing to clean my brushes but I’ve been procrastinating thank you for the motivation 😅
I think you are one of the only UA-camrs I’ve seen to recommend only taking biotin if you’ve been tested and shown to be deficient. Thank you! The mg of some of these biotin supplements are very high (e.g., the pill is 8,333% daily intake). I’ve read those overly high levels can be detrimental to your health.
I completely agree. Sometimes biotin is certainly not for everyone.
How can it be detrimental to your health? 😮
@@Jess_E2024 uhm there are certain things that can happen if you are not tested and your body does not work well with it
@@meg.moroney.fan.97 I’ve been taking 20,000 mg a day for about a year.. 😳
Guess I better stop and talk to the doc about it
@@Jess_E2024 its all up to you, i am no pro. If you have been fine for a year, i would think your ok.
very under-rated point about wet hair getting damaged easier - i never knew that till years later into my teenage time.

watching this video was like listening to a big sister’s advice. Best wishes for 2023!
Thank you for these tips especially the proper way to clean our hair tools. I used it and needless to say my brushes were filthy! All this time i thought i was cleaning them 🙄lol. No more dirty hair brushes for me. Thanks Doro!! 😊
I loved this video! I have been growing my hair out for several years. And I have finally dialed in how to keep my length and add to it. Hair oil has been the last key ingredient to the formula. While I agree that applying it to your roots and scalp can be bad. I have experienced proof that it is necessary to apply it to your tips only. The hair at your tips (also referred to as ends) is the driest part of your hair. So, adding that extra intense moisture keeps the ends from breaking off or splitting. Thus keeping your length.
Luckily I don't think I've done any of these! I'm pretty sure I have a very dry scalp because it's very flaky so I wonder if I should try a scalp moisturizer like that. Loved the video, it's very well made!
Watching your videos and already implemented one, will implement another while washing hair tomorrow...my hair fall is on another level rn so i really wish your tricks to work sooooner than expected...Thank You for all the knowledge ❤
Omg ur hair is so pretty! I know pretty much nothing about hair but ive been tryi g to learn more about it so thx for this video!

Hi friend ❤️ which one have you done? im curious 😅💜 stay safe, and love you too 💕
@@DoroCubillo ah I used to leave the oil on my scalp for a very long time! And I used rubber bands very tightly on my hair and wondered why i was having such a bad headache😭😭 I don't these anymore tho🤩

Great video 👍 . Thanks for the information. I’ve done some of those mistakes with my hair too . I heard from my mum it’s not good to wash all of the conditioner out of your hair when having a shower 🚿.
Ngl your hair looks healthy & a lot thicker now✨
Thank you so much!! I want to start my journey 🫶❣️
I used the green tea hair rinse from your 'weekly hair growth rinses...' video because I've been experiencing excessive hair fall recently, I don't know if it's because of the weather but yeah and I can see results even after one use, thank you so so much Doro! Ily💓😊
How do you use green tea as a rinse

really? im so happy 🥺❤️ keeping going to stop it and make roots stronger you won' regret it love 😘 yay love you
The best solution for the steam problem is taking cold shower or not above 25°C (or 77°F) , it's better for your skin in general + it's more cost efficient as there no to little need to warm the water. You get used to it faster than you think, it's just a matter of will
Thank you! Great tips.
I thought I was helping my hair soak up and hold in moisture by putting it in a bun wet straight out of the shower... Oof. Sounds like I was doing the opposite... Stretching it, thinning it, weakening it. Now I know why it is the way it is!
Hey love ❤️❤️ how are you oh my god i always use to air dry my hair how u have shown and always sleep with wet hair now i learnt that what to avoid thanks for sharing this amazing video lots of love 😘
Thank you that was very helpful.

I love you all more 😘
Hey doro! How many drops of oil should i put in one hair partition?
Your hair is so pretty!!!
Please do daily hair care routine!!😭😄💖
I usually air dry, I just put it in two rope braids to get some wave and put a cotton kerchief on it if it's cold.
Girl all that good. I only have tangle teezers so no natural bristles. I remove the hair and I literally spray them with oven cleaner, then after 10 15 min rinse and then scrub them squeaky clean with bathroom cleaner with a brush. Removes all oils, products , staines from hair dye. Turns out like new.
Thanks ❤
Hi doro 🤩 your video is soooo helpful for me 😁thank you 😍
hi love ❤️ im so happy you liked it 😘
I'm new to the channel and loved the video. But now I'm curious about the Biotin mistake you talked about, Doro. 🤔
Thus really helps me because I have recently I have been bullied because of my hair so thank you
Thank you so much❤
Thank you for the video dear 😎😎
Thanks for sharing ❤
I had gold Pantene I loved it
These are so amazing tips 😀 Are there any tricks how NOT to get hair tangled when washing,I have very long hair and its difficult to brush after because its very strong and thick. Thank you sooo much
you give bethany mota vibes and i love it!
thankyou so much
Thank you very much
Love you 😍 💗 💓 💛
ur the best your my fav youtuber
I saw that you using a brush with this ’’black needles’’ on the bottom. Don’t use it because it ruin your hair. The best way is comb or just simple brush without oddities.❤
I did almost all the mistakes mentioned, except the Heavy Metal movement. Now I'm being more careful.
Could someone help me out?? So I believe I have low porosity, thick/medium, wavy-ish hair. Im trying to wash my hair at least 2 times a week. After I wash my hair I use 2-drops of avocado oil on my ends, leave in conditioner(function of beauty) , and hydrating hair serum (coco&eve) . So on days I don’t wash my hair, do I have to reapply these products on my dry hair every day until I wash it again? My ends get dry :/ but they make my hair feel a little heavy…
wow Doro amazing and helpful video lots of love and care for you and your family dear 😘🥰
beautiful 😘 very happy you liked the video 💕 sending you so much love to you and family ❤️
Doro is backkk!!🥹🥹❤️thank you so muchhhh your remedies for worked like magic❤️🌈
love you 😘
U know how aesthetic is it♥️😌
Im gonna use ur tips and hopefully my hair survives atleast 3 days without washing (what i mean is that it wont get greasy and flaky after 1-2 days)!
I HAVE A QUESTION!! I have heard that if you have wavy hair, you should comb your hair right away after shower. So, what are your thoughts on it? Is it ok to comb them right away or should we wait till they dry.
that's helpful.... thanks ❤️
awesome ❤️
Nice video. Where to buy this big brush?
I have very fine hair but i still don't know how to thick now i'm using your methods😁 i hope i can see improvement
Thank you soo much i love you're videos you have so many great tips and you're so cute and funny ❤😊
I have done EVERY SINGLE one of these and I stop by doing the things she pointed out,and oh my gosh it works so so well.
This is you hint to follow these!!!!
1st time watch. How do you know so much of all these things Abt how to and what not to. Yr hair looks so so healthy. Very well done vedios. The way you show towels, products very well done. Hair brush cleaning is just like me. I always do. But great tiips and very well done keep it up.
Hey Doro ,Iam 21 now, I had long and thick hair down my back 3 yrs ago, but now my hair has been thinning out towards the end but i still have some density in the middle part of my hair, would u suggest cutting off the thinning part of my hair to promote hair growth, or should I just leave it alone and focus on the scalp for hair growth... Asking u cause u r the hair guru😊
Hi I was just wondering if you use dry shampoo on the days you dont wash your hair and if you don’t how do you keep your hair always looking good?
Thanks for this tips
of course love ❤️
does anyone know what I should do about the sleeping one? I'm not big on heat styling (I already bleach and dye my hair) but I also have long hair that takes a while to dry so I have to wash it at night
Would u pls suggest good shampoo and conditioner n hair mask for hair fall
