    I appreciate this a ton. I have been trying to make a wide scene with clouds, but every tutorial only shows how to make a single cloud in a box, or to use a ocean texture to have overcast clouds. I wanted a more dynamic system that would especially work well for time-lapse.
    These existing methods have complications as both generated and object don't allow me to shape the clouds into a structure that I want and ultimately get clipped by the object itself. So say I want the clouds to bunch up a bit towards a hill/mountain, plus have controlled empty spots, I couldn't. But you explained exactly what I needed in a very clear way here and I am confident that I can achieve my goal. Thank you!

    Comparitively small channel, but one of the best and unique i’ve seen. Don’t stop please!

    It's one another tutorial that covers what I've wanted to learn but no1 else happened to make tutorial for. Not only that but instead of tutorial I got full fledged lesson about the subject. Truly superb channel, leaving a sub. Keep up the good work, sir

    What I love the most is that you are still using 3.0. It is so hard to follow tutorials that are using the experimental versions. I really love your work and it is extremly satisfying to listen how you explain everything.

    This is insanely well made and well explained.
    I'm curious to how you seem to understand so well the ins and outs of coordinates.
    I would love to see more tutorials explaining what math nodes should be used for different effects and why those nodes are necessary for those effects. So basically at math lesson in blender! :D
    Again, this was insane and thank you for the tutorial! :)

    This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Your videos always have tutorials no one else shows, thank you!
    By the way, I think it would be nice if you could have the addon to show what buttons your hitting on your keyboard and mouse. I think it'd be useful for viewers when your creating giant node trees and explaining through annotations.

    I just made this thanks to you. I was thinking it must be possible to even have the clouds vortex around using this set up so imma try that Ik it’s a super anime thing to have the clouds split but also twirl a bit like it’s ripping the air. I’ll try to figure it out myself and see what’s up !!!!! Thanks for helping me understand geometry nodes as well your channel has been super helpful

    • @JoshuaRandyBuono
      @JoshuaRandyBuono 2 роки тому

      Apparently you can rotate the plain axis a bit to get a slight rotation but it doesn't have a more harsh rotation either way its basic enough that you can do it without changing it

    Nice, like the other tutorials of yours.
    Do you share your files somewhere or a screenshot of all nodes.
    Kinda hard to follow the back and forth with the nodes to show the abilities of the setup. So a screenshot at some point of the video would help... :-) THX

    hello sir, i have problem, remake this in blender 3.0. my empty / pusher is moving the wohhole coordinates alonge the axies. no hole, its like the texture is moving with the empty, no hole is creating. can you help me ?

    • @FrostUK
      @FrostUK Рік тому +1

      For some reason it did that for me the first time, then I remade the 'Texture coordinate, length, map range and scale' part, and swapped the subtract input from the Voronoi Texture from bottom to top, and then back again and it worked. No idea why.

    The noise texture uses the generated coordinates by default, that's why the clouds look squashed in the first part of the tutorial, the cube's scale wasn't applied.
