Great video, even better build. Very nice work. Can you show how you made the straight edge jig? You could even give me the dimensions via this comment if your willing but I need to build one for my table saw. Thank you, looking forward to the next video!
I don't know very much about building. What kind of blade is on your saw to cut metal? I was looking for another one of your videos and I came across this one. Thanks for sharing.
Great video, after you planned the 3 slabs, did you square off the ends before gluing together? That should fix that issue of the bow in the table top.
We did square off the ends. We think we may have clamped the table too hard. It was nice and flat when we initially glued it up and the next day was bowed
@@fathersondiygarage3580 curious if cauls would prevent it. personally I doubt it, I don't think they're strong enough. As of now, I abandoned all hope for glueups to EVER come out perfect. Panel, meet router-sled
It’s in a garage shop too, so you’d need a house with an attached garage. You literally cannot build this table without a sizeable mortgage. It’s impossible. This is class warfare. _RRREEEEeeeeeee!!!_
Noticed you didn't show the time-suck of breaking down the pallets and removing all the nails. You know, the thing that makes pallet wood projects not worth it.
Kinda, yes. But don't forget the aesthetic side to pallet-wood. Some customers are willing to pay extra because they want that look. I don't think you'll get that look from other sources, because each pallet was exposed to different conditions and got discolored differently
big yes to the build and the IPA
OUTSTANDING
Can you do a video on the dust collection from your planer and other tools
Good work lads

If only I had a router, joiner, welder, table saw,4ft clamps x 4, dewalt planer, vacuum system and then found 10 pallets I could build this table.
