First and foremost, thank you for your craftsmanship....beautiful work sir, You are hereby applauded. Secondly, I have been working with 150 to 135 year old old growth redwood. I am recycling old homes and salvaging all the wood I can. All or mostly all is full of ancient hand forged square headed blacksmith nails. I watched you use your pneumatic nail remover on those pallet nails and just went out to buy one. I have been removing all those old nails by hand for the past ten years and didn't know such a device was even available. So thanks again for the video and your knowledge. I am now 87 years old and still working with wood and you just made my life and future easier. I for one, appreciate you.

Easy to cleanI was looking for something that wasn't the traditional white and with more of a modern feel. This fit the bill beautifully. Beautiful job ! I did something similar when I was in 8th Grade Wood Shop Class back in 1961 . My Aunt & Uncle (Mom's older sister & her husband) owned & operated a Grocery Store & my Uncle was the Butcher . I made a New Butcher's Block for my Uncle with Racks & Hooks on the sides for his knives & saws . I made it using lumber scraps that I got from Housing Construction Sites . Everything was Finished with Ultra-Spar Varnish except the Upper 12 inches of the Butcher's Block which was saturated with Virgin Olive Oil because it was to be in contact with Raw Meat .
First video I saw with a denailer gun. I've salvaged hundreds of pallets and crates and have two of them. Those things are major work savers when salvaging wood material from crates and pallets!

Nice! I did some coffee tables with that look. I cut quarter inch thick by one inch wide strips and glued them to cabinet grade plywood. It worked very well.
Thank you n-times for this video which raised my confidence to make the best out of 30m3 of twisted, bowed and cupped colorful tropical hardwood boards which were almost dedicated to be used for heating ...
Great build and beautiful end result. Very labor intensive by itself let alone filming it too. Awesome. I hope you brand your name on your work so you are forever a part of that establishment and potentially garner future customers. Work that nice should have a signature on it. 👍🏻 Cheers from a fellow Michigander 🍻

I’ve been making tables and garden benches in much the same way. Only on a much smaller scale. I find that cutting my butt joints at 22.5 degrees really makes them easier to join. But again my projects are much smaller than yours. Beautiful work sir. Your attention to detail is amazing. Thanks for posting.
I'm going to give your butt joint degree a shot on my next build, I have a hard time getting my miter saw to do a perfect 90. It's almost never correct and I'm almost always filling in a little bit of a gap somewhere. Thank you for the input and the great idea!! And thank you so much for watching! I have about eight videos filmed, that need to be edited and uploaded. Still, just really busy at the moment in the shop. It's hard to find time to add it but I have stuff coming soon! Subscribe to see more if you haven't!
That was an epic project! It was awesome to see you turn all of those old pallets and make them into very nice tables!!!! I’m sure the restaurant owner is very happy with them! Great work!!!!
I am watching you from Poland and had a little "haha" moment when I saw the name of the restaurant. :) What you did is absolutely awesome, the meticulous work and attention to detail is just top tier. I love reclaimed wood and I love how you've given these pallets new life. I have to say I envy you a bit that you can just pull them off the street. I don't think it's a possibility in Poland, but after this video I will definitely give it a closer look. On a personal note - I am building my amateur/semi-professional workshop right now and you gave me inspiration for my worktops - I used some old boards I had found in my grandfather's shed to build them. The only difference is I covered them with a solid layer of hard resin. After all, they're worktops. I didn't pay as much attention to detail as you, but they turned out fantastic. I even have the same planer, so I definitely know what you meant by "pushing the limits." Thank you for this video, it is awesome and made me subscribe. So you got another fan/disciple, this time from Poland! :) Great work, keep it up!
Amazing! What a lot of work! Beautiful results. Thanks for the information as well, I did not know about the wire in the pallets. You likely saved some tools and prevented some injuries. Extraordinary work. Truly you are awesome!
This looks great! You managed to turn scrap wood into something that has real value. All that time, care, hard work paid off big time. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes.

(Newbie question) Is there any way to sand down/coat chemically treated pallet wood with a sealant so that it would be safe for indoor use? I want to build a table/some other indoor furniture, but a lot of the pallets I find are not HT. Thanks!
Sir great build thank you. Now I'm convinced, I'm going to collect a couple hundred pallets, like you, and make some kitchen counters covered in epoxy. I must also build myself a 36 inch thickness sander. My planers only do 15 inch. My wife wants some of those cattle doors on tracks. Like what's hanging in our barn.
Absolutely beautiful work!!! This is exactly what I been wanting to do for a couple of my work tables. This made my mind up for sure. I'll be looking forward to getting them completed this spring. Thanks for posting this great video!!!
I enjoyed your....long film. Felt like 10 min video to me. It's a honest work. Taking care of the small details. That's what makes it unique. Good luck.
Damn!! I hope you didn't bid this job, and went time and materials...... This is insane. I can't imagine how many hours went into these bar tops! VERY NICE work. I'm impressed!!
How inspiring. Thanks for giving me some ideas for my retirement. This checks alot of boxes for me. I love the craft of repurposing items. Plus at the end of all scraps. They end up heating my shop. Thanks and be safe. Get a cage for that van. Sudden stops could be harmful.
Fantastic work! When I saw this video in my feed I thought, "thats an idea for the 3x10 family table for our back lanai." After watching the process move ill try something else. 😀
I'll never forget the day I got all excited and took most of a huge stack of pallets home on the ute. An hour and a half later I'd rudely torn apart one of them with a claw hammer and various unsuitable tools lol. Sitting on the floor of the garage looking up at the pile, thinking about how much work it would be to take them back where I got them.. Makes me chuckle. A few good tools made all the difference. Anyway, love the benches.
I didn't hit the like button...I hit the love button!!! I love everything about this video! From the craftsmanship, to the music, to the cinematography!!! Even the Datsun 240 or 260Z! I am the newest subscriber!!!!
Absolutely INCREDIBLE work, @TreeCycled! I'm currently working on something similar, using old maple hardwood flooring to create a large butcher-block style worktop in my garage/shop. I know you were limited by the size of the pallet boards, but would you say a certain length of each "board" works best, for the pattern you ended up with? Excluding scattered larger & shorter boards, for variety, of course. The flooring pieces I have range from as small as 14" up to almost 8' (only a few straight ones, at that length). I just want to create some good variety in the pattern, without it looking like it's one long board, with no character. Thanks again for the video - it definitely helped me realize that I'm on the right path, and will hopefully end up with a result that's almost as impressive as yours! Cheers!
This wood was all going to be burned, I presume, or put into the dump. So..... you just created (with COUNTLESS HOURS OF HARD WORK AND EQUIPMENT) - - YOU JUST CREATED A WORK OF ART! I'm so stoked for you! Keep rocking it - keep up the great work! The trees that gave their lives to being pallets thank you for turning them into a work of art too. Thank you for sharing your journey. Namaste. #treecycleon #TreecycledForArt #TreecycledForAll

Interesting Project. What I find a huge risk is wearing gloves on a table saw. There are numbers of how to make push-sticks out that prevents cutting fingers or hands in a running sawblade. Most Suppliers of circular saw deliver Security Parts like riving knife ans Dustcollector from above the Running blades. I found no reason why not to use them when cutting Boards to width. No hidden Cuts or something... I can urgently recommend those security items.

I understand your concern. But, apparently MB is NOT dangerous to use ua-cam.com/video/4IblRBJMh-k/v-deo.html
Thanks Sherman! I hope the work tables turn out great!
I enjoyed your....long film. Felt like 10 min video to me.
It's a honest work. Taking care of the small details. That's what makes it unique.
Good luck.
Thank you much Mohe! Glad you found it watchable and i hope to see your comments in future videos!
very sophiscated excellent wood working !!!!!!!!! best wood art ever seen !!!!!!!!!! top rated !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful work, my ocd kicked in when he install the legs without cleaning the floor first. no hate its just me...lol
I think you're fuckin awesome.
OCD pinging
Love not seeing things go to waste. I wish other diyers would do the same
Now i know what to do with all the pallet wood i got from my work
I said this 5 min in and ya know what? Nevermind 😅 looks amazing though
Its definitely a ton of work! Thank you much for watching and for taking the time to comment!
Cheers!
So sorry for the loss of your pet that can be very stressful. Your work is amazing thank you for sharing.
Look's great all that hard work and time paid off, it must be very rewarding . Have a nice day and Stay Safe , Brian UK !!!
Thanks for watching Brian! Hope life in the UK is treating you well! Peace!
unbelievable amount of work but the result is worth it.
My boss would get very upset that I did not clean the floor before I put down the metal brackets
Just thinking the same
@@junethackray3599 me too
This wood was all going to be burned, I presume, or put into the dump. So..... you just created (with COUNTLESS HOURS OF HARD WORK AND EQUIPMENT) - - YOU JUST CREATED A WORK OF ART! I'm so stoked for you! Keep rocking it - keep up the great work! The trees that gave their lives to being pallets thank you for turning them into a work of art too. Thank you for sharing your journey. Namaste. #treecycleon #TreecycledForArt #TreecycledForAll
Thank you so much for the kind words Mims! I truly appreciate it when people can understand and respect the art of recycling and upcycling! Hope you found inspiration in my videos and i would love to see your comments in my future videos! Click sub!! Namaste to you my friend!! Welcome to the Treecyled Family!!
Where’d you get the racks you used to hold the wood while you were processing it? Those are pretty awesome and space saving!😳
They are actually food service racks! Like the type lunch ladies' will put trays of food on, or bread makers will fill with baskets of loaves. They are super hand for woodworking too! Thanks for watching Michael!
Sweet deal, thank you. And you make it easy to watch, it’s always therapeutic to watch another artist work, create and share with the world. 👍
@@treecycled Oh HECK YEAH, we have some large-scale food service liquidation in my area, & I will either keep my eye out for these, or just build a useful-if-not-pretty version myself. Thank you--great idea.
Outstanding!!!!
Thanks David!!
Watches for 15 speeded-up minutes, thinks, man, that seems like a LOT of work, realises there is another 35 minutes to go.
Never mind some video's are worth of it and some don't, I like this Guy!!
*sped-up *realizes
@@CarieSaad You're not actually correcting my British English spelling/grammar, are you?!
What a daunting task. I cannot imagine how much time you spent but the result is amazing.
Sir, you are a very patient individual.
It ... Toook.. FOREVER! Thanks for watching Bruce! Check out the newest video i posted! Its a sequel to this and possibly even more involved!
@@treecycled I'll dfinitely watch it this Sunday. Thanks for the heads up.
The Bar tops look amazing!!! how long did they take to build start to finish?
I think probably 200+ hours. Not entirely sure honestly. It was a LOT of time. Thanks for watching Keith!
Я в восторге от профи мастера! Замечательная работа! Столешница чудная! Удачи во всех делах!
WOW! Magnificent!!!
Thanks so much for the kind words! Hope life is treating you well RaeAnn!! if you'd like to check out the sequel to this video i just posted it a few days ago. Hope to see your comments on future videos!
Mitered corners would have been nice, but Wow, the care and craftsmanship!
Very good work. Nice music. Good morning from Greece!
Thank you for watching Takis!! I'm glad you enjoyed the music as well! Check out my latest build video! its an update to this restaurant with a new set of tables! Hope life is treating you well and hope to see you comments on future videos!
While I am watching this it is at the moment May 18, 2021, the weather is not nice, a lot of rain and sometimes some sun etc. in short, it seems more autumn than spring, but then I watch a video that is covered with snow and yes it gives me goosebumps and shivers run down my spine, actually I should have a look next summer when the weather is too hot!
But yes my curiosity is going to win the shivers so I keep looking and admired what this DIY has made of it.
Kind regards from the Netherlands, you know that small country on the North Sea with the huge world port of Rotterdam, ha ha ha Take Care you're all !!
