I can’t get enough of seeing old, forgotten, and beat up wood restored. There’s something about watching the inner beauty shine again that gets me every time!
The author does like to from scratch, ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.
And the winner for best woodshop class teacher gos to you sir...im learning so much just watching you..keep up the good work young un
Is it just me or is it really satisfying to hear the little frame pieces snap into place?
Just pure old fashioned wizardry
Thanks :)
I really appreciate the fact that there's no endless talking during the video. Reminds me of watching my dad make stuff. Quite comforting. Thank you.
Thanks Susaville :)
That's good, you want shelves for your beers with all that wine in there. 😁
Beautiful craftsmanship 👍🏾
Thanks :)
Always so relaxing to watch Stephen King take a break from writing and creative something wonderful from scraps.
Thanks :)
Hello Jason!
There is a lot of engineering and work involved in Your projects.
You are a folk hero and with that also a genius! Just keep it going!!!
Thanks :)
@@EpicUpCycling I thank You for replying to me!!! I seriously think that what You are doing is genius!
Did you know before You Tube that you were this good. Must be gratifying to you to hear all the compliments. You are really incredible. Your brain must be one giant blueprint.
I'm learning with your videos so i can make better projects
Already looks very nice.
Thanks :)
I love watching these. You are officially Mr. Wood Wizard.
Thanks :)
I just love what you can make from "Pallets and Junk".
Thanks Ricardo :)
@Jimmy McTavish I don't have the space or good tools.
To be continued! What an ambitious project. Oh well...
I don't drink... alcohol myself, in fact I just re-purpused an inset wine shelf into usable shelf space. Sacrilege to any wine snob I know. ;-) Still, as uaual a fine job... so far! Looking forward to the finish next time. :-D
Thanks :)
Can't wait to see it finished. Other channels might think they're making good use of recycled pallet wood but your projects are next level bro, you even reuse the nails. Another outstanding piece.
Thanks very much, Lostboy :)
@@EpicUpCycling Whaaat you reuse the nails as well that is insane! Awesome job.
@@TheTinyDutchman He even reuses his sawdust!
@@AntonieBeens you mean others do not?🤨
Wonderful job
Awesome, as always 👍👍👍
Thanks Doc :)
Браво! Не перестаю восхищаться твоим мастерством! Какие замечательные изделия! Удачи!
My personal favorite part is that it's still flexible and wine racks with plain ones can be changed at will, really great.
Thanks Crystal Hydra. I wanted something that could be easily adapted :)
Just incredible, great way to spend my Monday night!
Fabulous as usual!
Thanks Moira :)
Ikea has got nothing on you, sir!!! Fantastic!!!
Thanks Samantha :)
I have made many things from recycled wood but nothing so elaborate in detail. You are truly a pleasure to watch, thank you.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)
Man These Projects and Builds ARE SOOO COOOL!!!!
Thanks Alfred :)
an incredible wine cabinet, respect
Thanks very much, Walther :)
0:30 I love your dust collection for the thickness planer, it's almost as good as mine.
I am so glad I stumbled upon your channel. You have the greatest luck with driving cut nails into questionable wood and your results are always inspiring and beautiful. Truly a privilege to watch a master at work.
Thanks James :)
@@EpicUpCycling We're buying a new house and you've given us all these wonderful videos showing the possibilities for unique items that will be both unique, cheap, beautiful, and more importantly, useful in the new home. You've got two fans for life. On a separate note: Has anyone ever mentioned how much you look like my favorite author Stephen King?
The Stephen King resemblance has been mentioned quite a few times. I wonder if anyone's told him he looks like me :)
Your work is mesmerising. I can't stop watching.
Thanks Skeeter :)
I know right
Very good my brother I’m from Brasil resident from Japan
Seriously Sir what a talent simply stunning unit just watching you do some of your work from the old school carpentry even re using the nails nice to see you using glue not just nail guns even the way you use 2wedges when clamping timber to laminate .
And what about your workshop WOW must admire and appreciate the years it takes to get to your wide range of tools loved the hole saw cutter idea then run the saw through to give you 2 pieces for the wine bottles the way you made the supports instead of mortice with chisel you cut small blocks and then made a top and bottom section you know your craft .
Working with timber can take your mind away from life's problems much like going fishing
at least one cant tell the story of that big fish that got away.
Thank you for sharing this from Australia Down under Cheers
Thanks very much, Russel :)
You are a great wood worker and a genius.
Thanks :)
Super, wieder ein perfektes Projekt. Macht Spaß zuzusehen. Warte gespannt auf den 2. Teil. 👍

1st - I'm sure I'm likely the millionth person to say the music reminds me of Tesla - Love song.

Well after watching this video and seeing how elegant it's looking so far, the second part is gonna be the icing on the cake. Fabulous video Jason 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks Ian ☺
Nice build brother!
Thanks :)
As usual, very nice work.
Thank you, Judith :)
Merci beaucoup, Armand :)
Never get tired of watching your videos. Always excited to see a new one added. Looks really great. I love it.
Thanks Saggio :)
Awesome. Absolutely awesome
Great job!
Thanks :)
Another Masterpiece!!!
Thanks Dave :)
truly an inspiration. we have no excuse
Love the channel. It would be very interesting to see the planning and sketching stages of a project. You are obviously not just winging it and working free hand. Great work, always!
Thanks very much, Lars. I don't do a lot of planning, just a very basic sketch just to get an idea of the overall size, then I make the build up as I go along :)
@@EpicUpCycling I had sort of hoped you might work that way (I do. But I am nowhere near your level!) That is nothing short of spectacular. No surprise, but seriously!
Another wonderful piece. Your videos are the most inspiring things right now in this “stay at home/COVID” time. It’s over one hundred degrees here in Texas right now, and I don’t have a shop. But as soon as the weather cools a bit, I’ll start breaking down more pallets. I followed your other Narnia cabinet design and used it as my outdoor dust collection cabinet! Love your woodworking.
Thanks Don. 100 degrees sounds pretty uncomfortable. It rarely gets near to that over here in the UK :)
OMGOSH I can’t wait for part 2. I love watching when you are making a big project like this, it’s absolutely amazing watching a master carpenter at work. My poor husband couldn’t make a table, if you gave him four legs, and a square piece of wood. On the other hand you make exquisite custom furniture from old pallet crates. Your good lady wife must be the envy of all her friends. I hope it’s not to long before part two. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks very much, Elaine. Part 2 out next Friday (hopefully) :)
Another beauty on the way. I love your work!
Thanks Scott :)
That turned out beautiful, sir! Good job!
Thanks very much :)
Thank you for showing us yet another beautiful project. Brilliant as always!
Thanks Dan :)
Amazing Work Thank you Very Much👍👏👏
Thanks Amin :)
You are amazing...I can’t wait for part two
Thanks Terri :)
Always Like before watch.. 😁😄
The whole time I'm watching your video, I'm shaking my head in disbelief, I just can't believe what I'm seeing!! Absolutely incredible... I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of this build and how you'll finish this cabinet...I know it will be magical. Thanx for sharing your talents with us!!
Thanks very much, George :)
Shocked the heck out of me at 11:30 nailing through the Glue Joint on the panel!
Thanks for sharing! As per usual awesome!
Thanks Robin :)
You do some really nice work. Love your videos.
Thanks very much, Eric :)
I love watching these videos. Theres something incredibly comfortable about the way this guy works and the process used
Thanks Paul :)
This is one of those channels that make me wish that there was a button to love a video because your work is just incredibly well thought out and perfectly executed to deliver stunning results.
Thanks very much, Gary :)
WOW ! very impressive, thanks
Thanks Norm :)
So far I'm in love. Can't wait for part 2. Thank you for sharing ❣️❣️
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Part 2 next Friday :)
That is looking awesome 👍 well done ✅ I enjoy watching you build .thank you 😊
Thanks very much, Alan :)
Just saw part 1. Beautiful as usual! I will sit down to see part 2 tomorrow. Really outstanding work; and I love how glue, nails, and an ingenious approach to using discarded material in the hands of a craftsman can truly make that material come alive.
Thanks Chris :)
These videos are so awesome! Very inspiring!
Thanks very much :)
Outstanding is not new to your standards nor joinery techniques! Loved the cross grain sanding effects with the belt sander and the nails (rusty bent?). Really looking forward to the Epic finally! Thanks Much for the inspiration & standards you share and hold! Great videography too.
Thanks very much, Next part should be ready next week :)
My heart skipped a beat when you were removing the glued planks from the table :-)
Can't wait to see the hinges go on. This is going to be quality , love your commitment to alcohol 👍🍷🥃
Thanks Drunk Dunc :)
these works of art say more about the craftsman then the materials.
Thanks Daniel :)
Excellent!
Thank you :)
Very beautiful project. I really enjoy your gentle way to move and build, really the opposite of most american woodworkers, always throwing stuff.
Can't wait to see the end!
Thank you!
Thanks very much, Valerio :)
As a few have said can't wait for part 2 :-)
My oh my, you never cease to amaze me. I am so glad I found your broadcasts; so inspiring. Dlo you actually deconstruct the pallet yourself or get them done already. I retire in September and you have certainly given me pause for thought. Thank you so much. :)
Thanks Andrew. Yes, I pull the pallets apart myself. I usually store them outside for a few months then break up a load of them at the same time :)
I know this will be great when, finished!
Thanks Gene. Next part online next Friday :)
@@EpicUpCycling I'll be looking forward to it.
Another creation that more than lives up to the Epic moniker. Awesone build, thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks very much, Pete. Next part coming soon :)
Fantastic work.
Thanks John :)
Que bonito trabajo , abrazo desde Montevideo !!!
Thanks Jose :)
As usual, your creativity is completely "off the charts", skills are maddening and the patience of Job! Your pieces of furniture are actually works of art! This is already amazing and I can only imagine what the finished piece is going to look like...
This may be a completely boring video suggestion, but I would really appreciate seeing how you go about breaking a pallet down. You seem to have got it down to a pretty good art whereby you harvest the slats, the bracers and the nails.
As always, my absolute respect for your craftsmanship and regards, Mark (South Africa)
Thanks very much, Mark. I'll certainly consider doing a video on breaking down pallets :)
Hey epic How can you build wrong with pallets, uniqueness is your thing. I love it 💃🏻
Thanks Nicolayza :)
YOU ARE MY MASTER............ I WANT WORKING WITH YOU .......BIG RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Hubert :)
Wood work od mega super ........I Love it
This is absolutely gorgeous! Love the attention to detail and the craftsmanship. Makes it much more interesting than "pocket hole everything together"
