My best friend and I (we are both also Greyhawk Grognards) have been discussing recently our own Greyhawk games and how our old PCs and previous NPCs have altered this or that in the Flanaess. I played a PC several years ago, for example, that rebuilt Chathold and then went to Medegia to try to rebuild. So now, as an NPC, he's the ruler of a restored Medegia. Meanwhile, one of my friend's old PCs was a powerful Wizard at the end of a long-time campaign in Sterich and now is an NPC Wizard in a Tower around Geoff. (I think that's where my friend put him as an NPC.) .... This has made me wonder -- HOW on Oerth is it possible that your Flanaess is still so Canonical?!? .... I mean, for us, So-and-So former PC or NPC owns the Sword of Kas -- or there's a new King in Furyondy who was So-and-So's old PC and he wields The Crook of Rao. Oh, and Wastri was killed by the PCs in a campaign a long time ago so no more Hopping Prophet. Or The Horned Society has reclaimed Molag. Or whatever. .... I would be really fascinated to hear of some of your old PCs -- or some of the PCs in your old games that were really memorable -- who are now NPCs who are part of the 'canon' of Your Greyhawk. And how the setting has changed. I mean, is The Ghost Tower of Inverness actually still around? Have your players not yet obliterated Xavener from Ahlissa yet? .... Just curious.
Frog and toad-themed? Sold. I don't think I need to hear anymore. I will, of course, but you came out swinging there. And I'll tell you, I think I would have a bit too much fun with that rebuke ability. Another very well done and very well spoken episode, good sir. It really has been neat learning about this world.
I love using the Faiths of the Flanaess! They aren't flat out powercrept like post handbook clerics and some could use a buff, but i have built multiple clerics using his system.
Good video Joe and lots of great work there for 5e adherents (maybe there'll be more of these once the 2024 DMG comes out). One question though is why do you prefer to use the name "Stern Allia" instead of the more common Allitur? Just a personal preference maybe? Just wondering :)
They're not the same deity, despite what Bruce Cordell said as an aside in Bastion of Faith. Allitur, is the Flan LG(N) god of ethics and propriety. Stern Alia is the Oeridian LN goddess of law and motherhood, whose paladins are allies of both Heironeous and Hextor (!) due to their familial ties. To combine them is needlessly reductionist, and doesn't make a lick of sense.
Hey dude. Did FotF get removed from your website? Maybe due to the Drivethru RPG stuff? No issues if that happened. I just want to know where to find it (and your other stuff -- Feats, player options, etc.). You may have mentioned doing this in another video, but it came up as a question from one of my players. Love what you do!
Yes, all the 5E Greyhawk stuff got removed, and is being retooled for DMs Guild. The Greyhawk Campaign Guide and Greyhawk Player's Guide are the first, and there's a Greyhawk Cleric's Guide coming soon that has the FotF material.
These Domains are cool! Thanks Grognard! Cleric Domains are one of my favorite parts of 5e; I’ve yet to build a Thor and a Loki, certainly going to build one of these when we start up T1-4 again.

Would Ye’ Cind (minor deity) be in the same deity family as Olidammara?
I think she is an elven deity.
@@yurizanelli6538 oh yeah… thanks.
