Lech, nice video. I appreciate you showing 1) all the specific pieces ahead of time and 2) the difficulty you had fitting the telescope pipe at the end as every job has some kind of challenging part in the full process.
I can’t thank you enough for the excellent information and teaching you’ve provided here. I have the same Morrison stove so you’ve made it so easy for me to use the same components and material to get this sauna built. The entire series is top quality. Thank you so much!
I’m so glad you made this video. I was just quoted a little over $6k for two stove installs for the cabins which are on the same property. Looking everything up has been overwhelming to say the least. This really helps clarify things. Thanks again.
I love this video. I am getting ready to do exactly the same thing. Thank you for the instructions to do it properly. Oh, and I adore the accent! Thank you!
Okay, I'm missing something here! If I'm not mistaken the black stove pipe you've installed here is upside down. Meaning you have the pipe flange, starting at the stove, beginning inserted inside, which means that smoke can escape, flowing upwards and then every other connective joint, can potentially leak smoke. I guess depending on where you are, that might not pass code!
Do you have at least 15 feet of chimney length? The chimney draft looks good. Is the stove pipe inside single wall? Is there a recommended minimal clearance of the stove pipe to a non combustible surface?
Good information to know. From what I’ve read a heat resistant wall needs to be non combustible material that is spaced about 2.6 cm with spacers and a gap on the top and bottom for air flow. This prevents heat from being conducted through the material, in your case the tiles, to the wood and insulation behind it..

Thank you, this is such a good explanation of how everything fits together. This is what I needed. You are the best.

Excellent video. I’d love to see how you work with metal roof. Thank you
Best video I’ve seen so far on the topic. Bravo 👏🏼
Appreciate it. I try
Thanks for taking the time to record it - it is actually very time consuming to create a video like this, thanks again 😊
Appreciate that. Yeah , all my projects take 3x longer lol
Installing a stove here soon, this was perfect thank you for taking the time to record and edit this. Hero

I found a damper a good addition even tho I have an airtight stove. I can controller the rates of burn better. Sill this is a Great video.
Nice build. Stove is really sweet with that dual feed set up, never seen this before. I use pop rivets in my single wall.
Yeah. The dual feed is new model they released. Love it.
wearing all the dewalt merch using Milwaukee tools is criminal, lol. awesome video!
Haha. Yes finally someone noticed lol
Thank you, very informative.
Anytime
Bottom shingle under, the rest are ALL supposed to be on top of the metal. And caulk under each shingle. When it snows you'll thank me
Isn’t that what he did?
@erich4710 he put half the shingles over and half under, but there's a couple more rows of shingles that should have gone over the flashing.
I just installed my woodstove. Its a bigger job than at first it appears.
Yeah. Can take a little time to do it right. But result is great

It’s correct. Please check the manual for it etc. That’s how it needs to be to avoid buildup etc. Nothing leaks etc.
Smoke is not the problem. You are making sure the ceasote does not run out at the joint. @@HowToWithLech
Thank you
Welcome!
Didn't he keep on calling caulk, flashing?

Is the stove pipe inside single wall? Is there a recommended minimal clearance of the stove pipe to a non combustible surface?
15ft? No. Just has to clear past highest point of roof.
Yes single inside. Believe it’s at least 16” clearance needed. Why I did the tile wall
