Good video. Pretty straightforward and easy to understand. I have some questions though: Can we change affixes once they are set or do we need a new memory? And the elephant in the room, how is the stamina system in this game? I can see that you might need a good number of memories for different characters, can we get and raise them at a reasonable pace? Thanks in advance!
Set Affixes can be overwritten, yes! Each setting of an affix slot requires you to burn another memory of that set, though.
Events early in the game give you a lot of 6* memories, but a lot of those are random. You can trade 3 memories you don't need for one memory of your choice, though. Warzone also gives you a steady flow of 6* memories. Completely gearing my first core team (Lightning, lead by the S-Rank mentioned in the video) with 6* memories, and also affixing the memories to my DPS, took me about 2 months. After your first team, though, you have a good amount of resources to freely spend. For example, I had a complete and leveled set for an upcoming S-Rank ready and leveled weeks in advance.
@@XastherReeD Sounds reasonable, then. Even more so if you can trade them, and affixes are not that relevant. Lastly (sorry for bothering you!), is there any place with a list of possible affixes? I tried searching the english fandom, but I couldnt find anything there.
@@JenriqueGamer I'm pretty sure there is a list on one of the PGR Discords. The only two things you can affix, though, are character skill/passive levels and flat stats. You only ever want character skill/passive levels, though, because they give you the greatest increase in power. Sticking with S-Lee as an example, you mainly want affixes that boost his yellow skill and his core passive, because those are his greatest sources of damage. I think you can only roll the first page of a characters skills and passives on the first affix slot and the second page on the second affix slot. I'll be completely honest though, since getting the 100% correct affixes is very resource heavy and considered the last thing you optimized, I didn't look into it too deeply. It's also a matter of how in-depth you want to go.
Also, you aren't bothering me at all. I'm making these guides out of a combination of enjoying to share and explain things I'm passionate about and because I really want to see PGR do well. Nothing can turn players off of a game like starting out wrong. I'd like to help as many people as I can reach avoid that.

Hello, if possible, I would like to ask if there will be any specific new user missions or just story clear at your own pace sort of thing when this launches at global. Also, your vids really helped me, I was really confused about this game, especially the rerolling part, since I actually don't have time anymore, so thank you very much and keep it up. 👍
There are beginner missions. They unlock, one per day, over a span of one week. They are something to keep on eye on, but mostly only require you to do very basic things like leveling equipment and characters. A sort of incentivized practical application, if you would, of what you learned in the tutorial.

Hello sir u said that dark kamui is the one that u recommend to go for ( from the selector ticket) so who I can pair him with at the beginning?
Besides is it fine If chose s liv ? even I planning to pull for alpha
-dark kamui isn't very useful at the beginning since there's no dark damage in stages yet. He'll be very useful later in the game.
-s liv is easily outclassed by a liv. S Liv is good for support tho for later coop matches

Love your vids, its to the point. Just wanna ask, i just join the game and i got karerina S and A from gacha, so I picked karerina S from the selector so my karerina could be SS. But the problem is, i cant get the nanami S and also I cant get the better weap for karerina (im saving for lucia alpha). What should I do? Should I just go gacha nanami S and karerina 6* weap (abandon the lucia alpha) or stick to lucia alpha? Thank you.
Alpha is incredibly powerful. I would recommend pulling her.

How does one get 6* memory because I haven't gotten any from AE-4 nor co-op.

if i dont want to focus on S lee cuz im planning on rolling on alpha, is it reasonable to raise S kamui first then? what 2 other teammates at launch should i pair him with?
If no one answer you yet, you can pair him with anyone at launch. When Dark Watanabe release ( after Alpha patch ended ) you can pair S Kamui with him to form a dark team.

I would love to see a Dark (KAMUI) and Physical (ALPHA) Team Building and does it even make sense to use LUCIA or BIANCA?
Depends on which version of Lucia and Bianca you're asking about. B-Lucia is lackluster, so no. A-Lucia is pretty good until we get S-Bianca, then you want to use S-Bianca. A-Bianca more or less DOA because of the high competition in the physical DPS space.

@@camilaloaiza7731 That works for the start. Once Alpha drops you want to build a physical team around her. Mono-teams are what you want to focus on in the long run.

Why do we want to build teams of the same element type? Just because the character's skills only buff/debuff that type of damage?
Pretty much, yeah. Getting high damage in PGR is stacking the physical/elemental buffs to the max.
After hearing about the global release of this PGR I’ve got excited and I felt like I needed to rush to keep up with the beta testers and gather more info as possible before the 16th, but after all, even though I appreciate your passion for pgr and helping new players to do their best choice, (as a sweaty player) thinking about your time for searching to give tips to other players...I feel like I’m cheating, I have to answer my questions by myself. The more you play you’ll learn more, am I right? Obv your guide early on is really helpful tho; see you online :)
Is it worth investing to get memory resonance on A Karenina, or just prioritizing resonance on S characters would be better due to limited resource?
Prioritize your S-Rank DPS. Maybe not S-Karen and S-Lee, if possible. Fire Team loses relevance fast. S-Lee is already somewhat replaced by Alpha.

For f2p, if I do beginner banner to get S rank character, I wouldn’t have enough when alpha comes out right?
You should get enough back by the time Alpha comes out. In the beginning, you get a 10 pull for Debut Banners for leveling up + there are a lot of BC rewards early on for story, beginner quests, launch rewards and character backstory quests. Also, when Alpha launches we will get another main story chapter, which is another helping of BC. You just need to play actively and do your weekly Warzone and Pain Cage attempts and you should be fine.
If you are worried, the monthly pass has great value. I highly recommend getting it. It should be priced around 5$.

Is it possible to complete all PVE content with just the beginner team?
No. Later content and challenges require multiple teams. That content is split into multiple stages and teams used in one stage are locked for other stages. It might be possible to use the B-Rank Team as one of the teams for those stages, but at that point you should have access to far better units and teams.

which one is more grinding this game or honkai impact?
It's been a while since I played HI3, so it's hard for me to judge. I would say HI3 is more grindy, though. PGR events, which is what you will mainly spend your stamina on when there is an event on-going, usually allow you to consume most of your stamina in one stage. PGR is very low on the time investment side.
I might also be biased there, simply because the gameplay in PGR is actually fun and I enjoy my time playing the game, which wasn't the case towards the end of my HI3 time.

being a current player of both......honkai can be more grindy, but you feel as if you're grinding for a purpose. there's not 4 different materials needed to lvl up one thing, as well as being able to exchange for materials through only a few currencies instead of the material itself (coins, mithril, etc)
also honkai doesn't make you grind to be able to advance the story
but pgr allows starter characters to do very good, and im only lvl 44, but also continue to do decently good
both games get very grindy if you want to max out characters SSS with best gear. objectively they are very similar. being the later game I think it's more fun to grind in PGR as they have very diverse characters that are actually fun. and no pedo-baits
