1:00 The reason the moon phases presented in the image show the moon waxing from right to left is because the moon does wax right to left but only in the upper hemisphere. If you live in the lower hemisphere, which phoenix SC does (Australia), the moon appears upside down because the lower hemisphere views the moon from an upside down angle and thus the moon waxes left to right from Australia.

Something similar to this happened to me on pocket edition a long time ago, I created a creative world and it was all purple and black; I was grabbing items from my inventory and placing them to see what they would look like. They all had that checkered purple and black “missing texture”, but when I reloaded the world, it was all completely normal and I was very disappointed.
This happened to me years ago in a survival world I was playing, all went purple and black and it wouldn't go away.

Something like this happened to me as a kid!! I was playing java edition in like 2015 or something and a baby villager I let wander into the ocean apparently glitched out when it grew up. It caused weird black stretched out planes to shoot around everywhere and all that was left of the villager was one leg and a torso, both completely black. I left and didn't come back for a bit, but when I came back the villager was fine again. My poor lil self was TERRIFIED!!!
To add to my previous reply, the reason the baby villager existed was because I tried spawning in two villagers and accidentally made a baby. I then killed the two and felt bad about the idea of killing the baby so I didn't. I thought it was coming back for revenge

4:25 on bedrock, if you are inside a block, it tries to push you out to the blocks next to you. The player falls faster than gravel. Combine these two facts, and you get: the gravel starts falling, you fall inside the gravel, gravel becomes solid, gravel pushes you off, die.

More accurately, it goes west-to-east. It's just that in the southern hemisphere, the path of the moon is to the north, so when you look at it, west is on your left. And in the northern hemisphere it's vice versa.

when my game loaded the chunks, i got the suffocation message aswell
we dont really know whats going on, but i think bedrock just drags you to your nether coordinates or smth while ur not looking. as in other worlds we usually hear fast footstep sounds when entering the nether

that Lego resource pack looks absolutely amazing. I don't have anything else to say I was just genuinely in awe at how good that looked.
2:49 Magma "bubblevators" do actually make sense, since hot air going up means that everything else will be relatively heavier (relative to without the hot air), meaning that a person who would normally sink at a moderate speed would actually sink faster in a magma-induced bubble column.
The real question is why does the magma not get cooled by the water.

I didn't know the Brickcraft guy had cancer! So glad he's in recovery, I'll admit I haven't been following development (I assume I'd see something else about it being completed, like this video haha) but the original showcase blew me away, it's incredible how well he merged the Lego design philosophy with Minecraft as if it was designed from the ground-up like that in the same way as the Lego movie tie-in games

2:56 wait, yes, but that water would be moving up in a toroidal fashion, no? As the less dense water was displaced upward by heavier water wouldn't that push the player up too? I mean, that's just buoyancy right there.
No? Think again. There's not really less dense and more dense water (at least this has nothing to do with that) but there is water with more or less bubbles in it. So if you are in that water you would fall through those bubbles which are on their way up which lessens your buoyancy in the water. The water filling up those bubbles is also flowing down or at least from the sides into the bubbles, which is not how we see it, since we only see the bubbles rising. But if you think about it: the water directly above a bubble will be at the place where the bubble just was the moment later, so it has sunken.

The water with more bubbles in it is LESS dense, the air bubbles are what cause that. How did that not occur to you while you were writing it out?

It reloaded the chunks without textures, and then it reloaded the chunks the right way and the textures came back. It scared us since i didn't really know what happened then.
