I'm back with a progression guide, kind of like a more beginner guide focused on progression. We set up some long term goals, and look at how we work towards them. On top of that, I talk about some tips, including some common pitfalls and potential overinvestments, and help prioritise teams.
Just for reference, I will be playing Punishing: Gray Raven on the APAC server, on MuMu CN Emulator, Nougat 64-bit.

I suggest putting bullet points on the video description of the topics you'll discuss with timestamps. So that people know what they'll see and skip to thing they want to know rather than skimming the video manually and get tired and search another video.

Thanks for the tips, wouldn't even know about those cog boxes in the inventory lol. They really borrow a lot of stuff from Honkai Impact here. The stamina not refilling when we level up is kinda a bummer and definitely demand us to play smart :')

I just use Liv Luminance to everything, tbh you just need to focus on 1 character at a time. Just need to switch the memory you need on where you will go.

Right now I'm trying to focusing on nanami with memory that used for lucia, but later when selena arrived, i switch my memory for lucia to selena in the hope that later in game i'll be getting another type of six star memories, so i could just switch to that & upgrade it

I used my S class selector on him. And then i got him from his event banner as well as beginner banner... need 2 more copies of him to be SSS..
He Is my main, I have Da vinci, Darwin, and hanna on him bros a literal beast
Just FYI, apparently there's some packs in the store that historically last as much as a patch, current packs last 2 weeks more from now so Alpha could very well be coming in 2 weeks and not a month.

Alpha might be OP but my playstyle is more on ranged characters. So I'll concentrate on raising my S Lee and A Bianca. Maybe get S Bianca soon too!~
Lol, S-Liv is my main damage dealer.
So for the team comps, I got S Karenina from the regular banner, so I should pick S nanami over S Kamui on the selector so I can get a headstart on a mono team right ? Do elements matter outside of your own team comps, like there's a boss or content that's resistant to fire element ?
A karenina should definitely be on that table.
What about the Condelina Set? It is currently the only 6 star set that I even create a 2-Piece Set with. I don't think I have ever seen any anyone mention this set.
I just started so I dont have my S yet and I want to pull before I use the free choice certificate, I use A Lee as my main dps 😅
A Lee is fine tbh, you just gotta use whoever you can. this is why i lowkey recommending reroll because it lets you use your S selector immediately
I have the same mindset to save for future top teams, but at the moment I need a Dps to hyper carrie. Would u recommend investing into S kamui, Bianca or keep struggling?

Does Mozart set work on characters(off-field)that do QTEs during matrix?
thats actually a really good question, i believe it only works on the character that equips it

Edit: a question, can you stack multiple times the 2 set bonus? say for example if I equip all 6 slots of the same set, would that be 2-bonus+4-bonus+2-bonus again?
As far as I know 2 set and 4 set bonuses only proc once per set, I could be wrong though so you might wanna double check

is there a way to recycle the resources i dumped into leveling constructs? is there a better way to recycle/carry over stats for the leveled 4/5 star weapons when i get higher tier ones?

That A kamui on the 2nd tier is actually acceptable. I mean the guy can deal a lot of damage while being a tank andfun to use because of the built in parry mechanic in him
yeah like to be honest most characters you can work with. and like you said, there are so many fun ones too
So in these guides, we’re being told to only prioritize on leveling tank and supports QTE’s since we’ll mainly be using our Attacker, so what’s the point of having a tank/support in the team? Cuz if we’re switching out to them in order to do their intended job, aren’t they now severely under leveled compared to the main dps carry??
great question! as for levels, they definitely should be levelled. furthermore, tanks break shields/super armour (its the yellow bar underneath some bosses/mobs HP) and also have a bunch of physical/elemental defence downs/will apply effects from their memories. supports/healers will support and heal you and potentially give you buffs too (as you saw from that one 5* consciousness for +5% healing and phys damage). eventually, you'll be dumping more resources into them, its just that *at this point*, the easiest way to progress is to do more dps.
I levelled all my 3 main and carries me a lot now to main story not minding such meta i just like to see how they grow...
Are A Sophia and S Nanami available for global yet? I run S Karenina and I dont have either of those constructs.
Sophia is not but S Nanami is in the starter banner and the s rank choice box
So, according to team comps you need one of each roles in a team. What happens if I bring two DPS, one healer and skip the tank for example ?
It's absolutely fine tbh. But you need to pay attention to 2 things: 1. Is the chosen leader buff (some constructs' leader buff require 3 different classes); 2. Which content stage are you going to play (ex: I usually only bring 2 attackers and 1 tank in warzone where I need to kill the enemy fast instead of surviving in a long battle, so that I can switch the attackers around and have my tank wears down the armor)
For six star memory, darwin is the most op for me, put 4 of darwin plus two condelina & u get a great trait, condelina raising ur basic attack to 15%, so almost like other that stack up to 3 (times 5) or 5 (times 3), but for condelina it's already fix for 15% add, now, for the 4 card effect candelina only give u a chance to go berserk, & that chance is just 25%, but for darwin that gives u a boost if u ping any orb, & for ping 3 same collor of orb, u released a shockwave that deal damage for 600% damage within 12 meters area, that for six star memory.
For fifth star memory, i recommend mozart for four memory plus two of any kind of memory that add permanent boost for ur basic damage, mozard for 4 set gives u 200% damage to all enemy in the screen when u go into matrix
I'm new to the game, is Darwin flexible for any DPS?
@@akashee7864 my bad, i already leaving the game since the chance of upgrading the hero too much of a pity, i don't play regularly anymore for any kind of that gama that require us to get a rare hero for several times in order to upgrade them into at least basic OP state, the only game like that that i play right now only blue archive (much more generous in gems), counter side (this one u could farming regularly daily to upgrade the hero star, before awakening), and figure fantasy, but very rare since it can progress further more, nowadays i play rpg dungeon style like undecember, cost me too heavy for gacha game like that

any tips on clearing dorm dailies? for some reason there are 2 "clear 3 events" missions on mine, one got cleared but the other one just stays there..
You have to wait. I think it may be somewhat determined by mood as well. Note that if you send them out on chores, they won't be in the room to have an event. At some point, when you go to the dorm home screen, it'll say "event" in blue next to the dorm. When you go into the dorm, it'll have an icon above the char's head saying what they want to do. For example, if they have a picture of a bed, then you gotta hold the cursor on top of them then drag them to the bed.
@@Jona07111 don't know how but I just somehow cleared it, by tapping them when I'm checking if I can pat them again.. I just asked because when I'm doing this in tw/cn/jp server I just do all headpats, craft 3 then send out 2 units and all missions are done, which I find it weird here in global version.. or maybe they just updated/reworked the older versions daily >_<

@@lacqs9129 The blue triangle above their head also counts as an event. Those blue triangle events can either give affection toward that character, a dorm coin, or a gift.
On my first day, I got stuck, not because I suck, but because I need to be lvl 35 to proceed to the next normal story...

Better farm on memory resource stage 4, gauarntee get *6 memory on 8 try or even less try

Roll for Alpha 100%. Boost your weapon, character level and skills, and memories to increase BP. And grind out the event check out my event video

Me and My S-Liv go Brrrrr through all the stages. Selector picked her and then later 40x also her. I guess I’m destined to be a supporter 🤡
S liv actually does enough damage to be considered sub-dps lol + she is literally immortal with her self heal.

for me, i just push the levels and i do not care about getting 3 stars because a lot of contents are locked unless we clear a certain stage (regardless of how many stars). We can always revisit them in the future if we want
You probably can beat it , i beat stages at 2200 bp while using 1000 bp 1 char and other chars support 500 bp each so if u didnt play honkai impact before watch some guides and u will be able to easily beat stages with higher bp tho sometimes u need dmg cuz some stages has timer so when u r stuck cuz of not enough dmg then upgrade ur main dmg dealer , ignore the other 2 make them support healer and buffer and only focus on the main until u get 5 stars
@@dodo9776 yeah I can easily clear the stages, just some phases that it takes more than 150s but its all good
in my opinion give them a few tries to go 3-stars. if you really can't, just push on. more important to get war zone + pain cage

yeah look i dumped everything into my B Lucia and Liv LOL. B Liv is a very safe investment
U should believe in B-Liv, Alpha/Rosetta(soon)/B liv are the physical team Meta.
Dps are overrated, my healer is the dps, I having a lot of fun with swapping, a rotation of Matrixes, a double matrix on Liv because why not

@@disyali Yeah, I see more B Liv as a DPS then S Liv, B Liv QTE actually do damage too, switch in is a yellow orb to suck in enemies and can get a core off with a red orb easily while being AoE on both things, maybe tho for bosses S Liv seems better as she power up Basic Attacks too

they're different. A Kamui is to help physical teams, S Kamui is to help dark teams

yes most definitely. i would say everyone is viable tbh. for example, B Lucia has such a massive multiplier on her QTE, but she still gets trashed 'cause she's a starter

Man i'm confused. Some people talking about 100% taking kamui from the selector and have different opinions in what to invest now...Can't tell what to do with all this mixed advice
this is what it comes down to:
pick S Kamui if you're willing to wait about 6 months before he's super meta. up until then, he's a very solid character
if you somehow ended up with S Nanami, you *can* pick S Karenina and run a fire team
if you somehow ended up with S Liv, pick S Kamui for the same reasons
if you ended up with S Karenina, you *can* pick S Nanami, but you could also pick up anyone else (like S Kamui)
in terms of investment, if i got S Kamui, i would throw all of my resources at him

What’s the point of having a healer in a single player mode when she only heals herself
B Liv can heal other characters through her QTE. At SSS she provides phys DMG buff when she's not the active character.

@@planetnoodlee No, when you ping 3 orbs of her color, you can tap on her portrait to summon her to heal.
