I'm a South Florida/Florida Keys' guy who's been transplanted to San Diego for the past 20 years. I'm also a lifelong fisherman of 55 years. As such, I'm curious as to why you removed your T-top. I can't imagine being out on the water all day with no place to get out of the sun.

I am fishing a deep hole next to some oyster, for reds. They keep taking me into the oyster and breaking me off. I am thinking about using wire. I am using 50# leader and 30# mono.
