There is that laugh again that I like so much. You can tell you're having a great time. Next time you talk to the guys at Mossy Oak, tell them you have one Big fan from Texas. It'll be easy for them to remember me. We have the same first name, and I worked there for a long time.
Love the dolphin intro and anytime you remember to include the other wildlife. Always giggle at your heron and pelican buddies at the docks. All part of the seashore circle of life. Thanks also for the underwater footage between 18-19.5 minutes. A great reward to your real fans who watch the whole video. Also i love that you like the toadfish. Saw someone else do a catch n' cook, fried. Said it was fairly good - not grouper, but not trash.
I absolutely love it when you share the ride with us! Please do it more often, and the ride in!! I enjoy it so much! I just watch it over and over! Your enthusiasm just flows through the screen on this beautiful Sunday mornin' in Texas!
I watch a lot of fishing videos. You are in my top 3 favorites. You are a consomate professional in every way. The always laughing is a great aspect of your personality (like mom). Rock on my friend
Hey buddy, my son and i are big fans we watch all the time. He is 10 and really getting into fishing. We are vacationing in gulf shores this week, we'd love to see your catch or meet!!
I can’t stop watching your videos! They are so relaxing. I come down to Orange Beach every Summer for vacation. I got here to OBA today. Keep doing what you’re good at!
Loved this video !! I could see that you really enjoyed the fishing on this one, and that makes a huge difference. Especially once you insisted on hitting that Barracuda... Priceless ❤
I’m always amazed at the colors of salt water fish. I saw a sail fish come into the pier one day chasing a flying fish until it went over the sand bar. It was neon blue coming in. After the chase ended the color started to fade on the way out. I tossed a live cig in front of it about 25 yards. It had no interest. It really wanted that flying fish.
Always watch and ENJOY your videos purely because you actually enjoy yourself in the process. BTW, I taught diving in the GofM for 25+ years (stopped logging my dives after people told me I was lying about the numbers) and I know for sure that the water does NOT get to 90 degrees.
I spent 20 + years in the Gulf, only thing I never saw was a Whale Shark. I kinda miss the money, but I miss fishing the most. Definitely keep the Ling. Blue runners ( hard tail) make excellent bait.
I am from Massachusetts, and I fish for striper and bluefish, and it can be very difficult to get the hooks out of their mouths when fishing trebles, so I put single hooks on my hard baits, and it makes it a ton easier to get the hook out, especially in stressful situations when there’s a school or if it’s a toothy fish. Overall, it makes it a ton easier, and I didn’t sacrifice my hook-up ratio too much. Overall, it was worth my money, and I think it would help you out a ton.
Love watching your videos, man. And thank you for uploading this in 4K… I know it probably takes longer to render and upload, but it looks so good and is greatly appreciated!
Saw you the other day picking up a pack of hotdogs at the grocery store. I yelled hi Jake but you must’ve been in a rush because you were moving pretty dang fast lol
was very excited a month ago finally got the money to do an all day charter out of orange beach for next weekend, today i learned its likely going to be storming.. meaning we likely wont go out, kind of upset about it because i was so excited to hopefully catch some of my dream fish
I fish in the Hudson River in NYC which is brackish and toadfish are the bane of my life. Nasty, slimy, toothy creatures that usually swallow your hook so deep it's impossible to get out.
Great videos as always! How do you target Rainbow Runners. Specific type structure, depth or ? I’ve only ever saw them on the rigs about 60+ miles out. Thanks!

It’s always funny seeing a saltwater anglers tackle box then comparing it to my dinky lures 😂
Man that was a serious variety of species. No shortage of fun at the top or bottom for sure. 😆
Awesome times on the water
Love the videos I went out in mobile bay this morning and caught a couple big jacks

This is an AWESOME video bro!!! Keep up the hard work! I hope someday I can go fishing with you lol.
Stephen, if you will use bread ty's to hook your treble hooks together they wil not tangle in the box. Enjoyed your video!
