Massive mangrove! We fished coastal Georgia (Jekyll Island) yesterday. North wind in June but it made the weather feel like fall. We had a good day as well.
@@BamaSaltwater we are seeing the same kind of things here. Water color is bad at best, clarity is about milkshake and commercial boats have been pounding everything inside 60 miles. We marked some good fish, just couldn’t get them to bite. We tried several types of baits to get a limit.

Thats the thing about fishing. Youll get skunked a lot and itll wear your patience but it just makes it all the more exciting when your rod gets slammed or you have those days where you absolutely tear it up. Its like man ive been waiting for this moment lol
My biggest mangrove came from one of the tanks, not quite the size of yours but close. Also caught our limit of red snapper, and put back some 20 plus pounders at a tank a few years ago. Good video!

It’s been tough! Lots of fishing pressure, dirty water. Downsize leader and also don’t stop on a reef if you don’t mark anything good .

I've never seen a mangrove that big! I also enjoy the Sabiki bait catching and the fish cleaning. It's not boring...
