  • This is just the final cap off fishing serious soft structure out front. Same trough, different day, and but biomass was located slightly different than where I was at last time I fished. Conditions can vary such as tide and bait which will cause these small shifts in the biomass. With a small adjustment I had no issues relocating the biomass.

Awesome. Looks like on the last fish you had switched fro. A white jerk shad to a chartreuse color. Any reason why?

That's awesome how they are like 5 ft from the shoreline. My father always told me when fishing for flounder from the surf jig all the way in cause 90 percent of surf casters throw right pass the fish.

Hey, I was fishing a hole just like that on thursday, and absolutely slamming them. Came back today with the same lure, same part of the tide, even same surf conditions, and the hole didnt give up 1 fish. I switched between different colors, but still no luck.
I know the bite wasnt off, because i still caught fish in other spots.
What would you have done before moving on to a new spot?

I did mention this in a previous video. Biomass usually stays over a particular spot on avg of 2 weeks. After that, they are on the move. If it is the same tide + same conditions, and you are getting no bites, it is time to move on. Keep in mind, it is very important to fish both sides of the tide on the same spot to get a true picture of the bite. Cheers!

Wow, the clip at 2:30 is insane, you can clearly see the jig pop and the fish hitting it.

Quite the opposite! I have been fishing a lot on the custom rod and more videos of it will be coming out. Both rods are great (the best I have ever fished with) but I am digging the new rod more now. You will find out why!
