I love the way you did these fashion shots and your models are also very creative in posing.

Not bad for a $200 lens. The Lightroom Optics Moment preset really helped correct to a much more rectilinear look.

Try out adapting the TTArtisan 35mm 1.4 (Leica M mount) on the GFX

I wanna use this in a studio shoot, like some exciting shoot kinda inspired by those got milk? ads you'd find in 00s comics

Thanks for this review! It's mind boggling how bad other reviews of this lens is. People don't get how creative you can be with a fish-eye without it being too gimmicky. The other reviews are pictures of dogs with big snouts. The model pictures on the white backdrop are amazing.

ONE MILLION PERCENT! Those shots are fabulous. She is the Real Deal. I never listen to a UA-camr talking about photo gear if their photos are shite. Glad this one popped up in the search!

Only laowa 9mm f5.6 m-mount is good enough for gfx system 😅

Amazing, and what lens did you use to vlog this video?

Really interesting lens. It reminds me slightly on the 11mm1.8 for sony, but more bendy. is the GFX a fullframe camera?
Also: I am always curious what camera you are using for the talking head and "wandering in the desert finding a subject" parts. Could you share? :)

GFX is medium format so it has a crop factor of 0.8. Thus the 11mm is really a ~9mm and that’s why it’s more bendy!

In this category of wide angle portraiture, you'd love Christiano Hermoso's work. I had the pleasure of shooting a documentary with him (ua-cam.com/video/Sf9g9DJsFac/v-deo.html) and his go-to lens is an 8mm fisheye on a full frame camera. So wacky but the photos are spectacular.

  • @MikeLikesChannel

You’re at 8mm on GFX… it can practically get the camera body in the frame 😆

for you it's not an 11mm ... 11mm is in always given by manufactured in a full frame / 35 mm sensor ... in your case the 11mm is equivalent to a 8.69 mm ! that's why you felt it so wide !
