This was my build! Thank you very much for featuring me 😊 did my best here haha. One thing I forgot to mention is that transcendence can basically be used constantly due to the sheer amount of light and dark gen.
I use a similar build with Final Warning, incandescent energy weapon and Edge Transit heavy, i prefer void grenade for weakness (boss DPS with final warning and edge transit + weakness is chefs kiss) and over-shield but yes this exotic armor is insane, easily one of if not the best Warlock build rn. I can't tell for sure, but i've noticed that if you kill multiple mobs by threaded blast (shooting tangles with strand weapon) it doesn't seem to give as much grenade energy back, like it only seems to act like you killed one suspended unit rather than multiple. have you noticed this?
I feel like this is one of the few Warlock builds that benefits from max strength. With Devour and all of the armor mods that give grenade energy, your discipline shouldn't matter as much since all of those grenade sources give percentage chunks. Higher strength is going to give you more needles which is more suspend, more unravel, more nade energy from your mods, and even faster transcendence, and with Dawn, constant radiant. Very cool build
The reason to wanna make a str build w/o sunbracers is crwzy except for arcane..but the regen on arcane is funky..also..the fragment for melee energy with dark dmg..you get it back so fast anyways.
It's very easy to have transcendence up all the time (Khvostov or Outbreak Perfected + Facet of Grace) among other things, and then you have constant arcane needle uptime, even on my 20 strength Warlock.
You're all correct, you don't NEED max strength but the point of build crafting is min maxing. Youre going to have those stat points to use and strength gives you more of a tangible benefit here than discipline with all the nade recharge sources you have. Only other logical place to put them is intellect if not strength or disc, but theres no point in that either and I don't see a reason not to juice the ability that the entire build revolves around
@calebgomillion1421 I've been running this build for over a month now. Strength is just never needed ever with transcendence. I also run Graviton Lance because feed the void counts graviton kills as devour kills. You get so much melee energy back it's ridiculous. Usually I pump max resil, recovery, and discipline. I usually run discipline maxed because getting kills with grenades procs your devour nonstop to get melee back near instantly.
Man, as a hands on learner, I’m always coming across different builds that sound like something I’d like to try but as someone who forgot so much about the game, things get super overwhelming and I’m left going back to the few builds I’ve come to grow comfortable with so this play by play/learn as we go together type video format is so nice, not to mention a refreshing change, thanks for the great production and keep up the great work Mac!
One important thing this build is missing is using some sort of kinetic weapon like khovostov or outbreak combined with the fragment that gives you more transcendence energy for kinetic weapons. When I use that I can pretty much spam transcendence infinitely making this build 10x more powerful. And also as you figured out using phoenix dive over rift makes it a little better as well just due to faster regen. This has been my go to build for a while now and I think is a very slept on build.
While understandable why you would go that route, I do believe the strand weapon was intentional for the artifact mod, and not only that for the sheer potency of the call sidearm. Don’t get me wrong, the kinetic route is also viable, but there is also an angle for strand as well.
nah i agree with you. it’s the best build i’ve ever used in my destiny journey and now i feel weak when playing my hunter main 😂. i love spamming transcendence, phoenix dive, arcane needle, and just destroying everything with khvostov. using kinetic surges also helps get even more transcendence energy btw
I personally prefer to run void nade for this type of build. Seeing as your transcendence nade is also void, you can utilise the high uptime of your weakening grenades to leverage this Episode's artifact mods. Specifically, the artifact mods for void overshield (grants you an overshield for defeating weakened targets) and shieldcrush (grants increased melee regen when you have an overshield).

Threaded blast is so underrated imo. Its feels like the equivalent of throwing 4 tangles, in both radius and damage. It really makes The Call shine in GMs. Deleting mobs with one shot makes the ammo economy that much better.
Battle scar with shot to loot and kinetic tremors is all i use as a primary, I always have charges as the shock waves picks everything up. This exotic with a high strength build is the best thing this season, all my other characters have had little play.
I actually have a build like this with triple 100 stats in res/dis/str and it's cracked. Bleak watcher and suspending needles makes you the master of crowd control, and gives the ability to stun all three champion types without weapons. Devour+song of flame makes you super spongy with resto on orb pickup, and kinetic weapons really shine. I personally love khvostov on this setup, but things like outbreak or blast furnace is good if you want to run Micro in the heavy slot for easy damage. That's what I love about the build though, it's so flexible you could run many different setups and have it still be viable.
I use this but use weavers call instead of hellion ( for now ). Every time you Phoenix dive, you throw threadlings for ability kills and adds to dark side. When you pop super, snap fingers, throw Phoenix from super and then dive for more threadlings over and over. I also use red death with catalyst for crazy healing. Try it out. Let me know ….
Very close to the build I've been running. I was so glad to see this so I could tweak it. I absolutely love Feed the Void and Hellion so I am so glad you went back to it. I love your work Mac. Thank you.

Mactics explain what that means in this video ua-cam.com/video/_YREkeNEcos/v-deo.html)
I use an extremely similar build, and I wanted to scream watching this. Not that you were playing it "wrong" necessarily but because you were just sitting on full transcendence and never using rockets. The point especially with devour is you are constantly transcendent, meaning spamming those needles and constantly heal. Whenever you pop a champ solo, just slam a rocket into them and move on because that alone is enough to kill them. You can just spam melees all day long and suspend whole rooms.
I feel like the original setup was meant to be double special with the new solar rocket sidearm and it would've been a lot stronger with that. I'd recommend revisiting the original setup again when you have it. Incan feels so much stronger on it than primaries, i think largely due to the aoe damage from the rocket part of it. It completely tears
Was running a dual destiny with a friend and in the final room with the bosses and clock mechanic. After you successfully shoot the correct cruxes, Like maybe 4-6 Grims spawn in the air. Id pop like 2 shots at the Grims with Aberrant Action and it would destroy them so quick cuz incandescent slaps. I would tell my buddy to call out whenever ready and was like," HOW ARE YOU KILLING THEM SO FAST?" I responded with The Spicy Call
I run a very similar build. I crafted a round robin with pugilist just for this build to help wirh keeping my melee up. Works out well now that I have aberrant action.
13:06 Warlock is in fact the only class that gets to double-dip from the facet of dominance, but only because the prismatic titian grenade already jolts so they only get the benefit of adding weaken to their void suppression grenades.

yeah, I have a build with Grace and Khovostov with bleak watcher and healing nade. It's similar but a transcendence spam build that can handle all champions.
This is the exact build I've been using since Prismatic was released. I'm happy to see it get some attention! Though it may feel less unique when everyone starts using it😅
Monte Carlo makes this build slap. Then you can run new solar rocket sidearm for incandescent-heal clip, and a edge transit with bait and switch. Only problem I run into is my darkness bar doesnt fill up fast enough to spam so I HAVE to run a darkness grenade. This ultimately leads to spammable transcendence.
For primary weapon, the Corrasion with Pugalist and Voltshot slaps on this. All the jolt kills give tons of melee energy and leave a radiolarian pool that gives added dot damage. Also since it's an arc weapon, facet of balance gives even more melee energy from multikills
I feel this could be a great build using The Final Warning instead of The Call, using Aberrant Action/Heliocentric with Incandescent + Heal Clip, having Edge Transit as backup for boss damage. You can unravel a ton with Final Warning, suspend left, right and center, detonate the Tangles which are mininukes with the artifact mod...Running double especial might be risky for a GM but with the sheer amount of ability kills, there shouldn't be that much of a problem, not to mention the game will eventually replenish your especial after like 40-50 seconds.
YES I have been LOVING this exotic on prismatic, I run it with the call and graviton lance with the facet that gives you unravel and void destabilizing rounds and it does AMAZING on liminality
i love this exotic so much. its right up my alley for warlock power fantasy. the biggest problem i got with it is that the suspending blast for killing an enemy is so small, so you can’t reliably get your melee energy back in a good amount of cases.
The more needles you land on a target, the bigger the suspending blast radius. If you hit all 3 it also auto procs the suspend. So if you have a champ or something surrounded by smaller enemies its best to spam all your melees on him itll instant suspend in a huge radius its like triple the radius of just using one melee and kill the smaller guys really quick to gain melee energy back.
@@joshlong6733 oh shit good to know! honestly my feelings about the base 1 needle explosion size doesn’t change but i’ll for sure keep that in mind for bigger, more spread out clumps of ads.
@@AkiraTendo-d4k yeah i honestly agree about the base size, can suspend maybe 2-3 targets lol while the shackle grenade that suspends can get like 5-6 people in one go lol
I use a build very similar to this on the daily, though I run it with khvostov, wild style, and pro memoria. It's a perfect anti champion build that has the ability to stun all champion types with just it's abilities. Though I would run it with much higher strength (mine is at 100) and lower discipline (as feed the void will give you back your grenade energy). It's able to survive on just it's base abilities without utilizing transcendence, but can activate it to get abilities back or to burst down a higher health target that doesn't quite deserve a super. Then you always have song of flame as a panic button/high damage rotation with wild style/another way to regenerate your abilities after the super ends.
So basically when you Phoenix Dive you summon your little buddy Helen, who sits up on your shoulder and spits hot fire at your enemies. “That’s right Helen, you go girl, slay them MFers!!!” 😂😂
My friend named my Hellion "George." And now he's George 🧡. The Song of Flame birdie is named "Super George" 💫. And my Child of the Old Gods is named "Gregory" 💜. I have friends now 😊 But we all hate Arc Souls cuz Arc is ass ⚡ Stasis is better 💙.
Running a similar build but running monte carlo with double kinetic surge. Infinite melees and get easy transcendence with facet of grace. Facet of courage and solitude are also really good with this build with the infinite suspension and sever. Really solid build out of the many I have tried out throughout the final shape Mataiodoxia is an ez S tier exotic
I like using the Call with Hatchling whilst also Weavers call. Threadlings just all over due to strand damage creating perched threadlings… strand melee and rocket sidearm (which also creates threadlings) it’s super fun. I use this combo on healing warlock as well as Mataiodoxia 👌🏼
Adhortative is a solar pulse rifle that can get heal clip and incandescent. It's also craftable. I'm sure you have the pattern unlocked from last season.
Tried this with Luna’s Howl and Abhorrent Action - both felt good. Can change what one you use depending on if you want Overload/Unstop or primary/special ammo in that slot.
just because I couldn’t stop thinking about it during the video, the aspect is pronounced “hell eon” as in “rowdy or mischievous person or child”. But I did go down a fascinating little rabbit hole about “heal eon” as a reference to helios the god of the sun in greek mythology. Hilariously, I think the second actually fits better considering the solar class is literally the power of the sun, not just fire. But alas, that would more likely be Helion. That said, heal-eon is a great name for the speakers sight/edge of intent healing turret XD have a lovely day anyone amused by this /rant
Adhorative (leafy pulse rifle from season of the wish) also has heal clip incandescent. Don’t sleep on that thing. 390 rpm and the nano-munitions origin trait is also super strong in higher tier content- allows you to just unload hundreds of shots in a row on barriers if you’re near teammates. Can craft into decent reload speed as well with flared magwell. Mine has 64 reload stat and the Press the Advantage artifact mod only bumps that higher. Very nice if there are a lot of solar shields
@@lukehardee4735 I believe it’s still obtainable thru the Starcrossed exotic mission, which will be up again next week if I’m not mistaken. Haven’t run that mission since TFS dropped but Datto said Subjunctive (the smg of the same weapon type) still drops so Adhorative probably would too I assume
Yes running the meta with outbreak (or any strong kinetic like blast furnace and so on) makes this build go from 0-100 and gives more room for better fragments
I am one of the few blessed by RNJesus with a healclip inca heliocentric and let me tell you it feels better than the red death, I've racked 5 thousand kills with this little monster already I love it And I cant vouch for it enough
you are on point about the phoenix dive... i was wishing last night i had it ...damn healing rift got me killed like 3 times last night... super frustrating... ..i just don't have the new exotic yet...just started up my warlock again last week ...need to finish the story on my warlock still.. :-|
phoenix dive has faster cooldown indeed, which let you to pop it more often for your solar buddy. Also the cast time is way faster. So its easier to get your solar buddy
Reject consecration spam, embrace transcendence spam Titans have lost their identity as tanks and paladins for years, instead becoming more melee focused. However I present a jack of all trades build which has self healing, damage resistance, crowd control and champion stunning. (All percentages and buff times are from the Destiny Data Compendium and may be inaccurate) EXOTIC ARMOUR Stronghold SUPER Either glacial quake or bladefury for frost armour (up to 22.5% DR for 10 seconds) or woven mail (45% DR for 5 seconds), as well as harmonic siphon (stasis) in lower difficulty content CLASS ABILITY Thruster MELEE Frenzied blade to apply sever (enemy damage reduced by 40% for 10 seconds) OR shield throw for void overshield (50% DR for 10 seconds, sword block can make overshield last longer) GRENADE Pulse grenade ASPECTS Drengr's lash for AOE suspend after using thruster Diamond lance for crowd control, unstop stunning and honestly the only other aspect to benefit this build FRAGMENTS Dawn Hope Sacrifice Purpose Balance Dominance WEAPONS Kinetic slot - Dealer's choice. In lower difficulty content I use Lost Signal for area denial and orb generation, however double special is not viable in content like GMs Ergo Sum - Match surges. Arc should be Arc Conductor, ideally wave frame, other elements with Wolfpack Rounds. Heavy slot - Ideally an LMG, match element of Ergo Sum ARMOUR MODS See screenshot in Mac's Discord in #will-it-build, in higher difficulty content change harmonic siphon to powerful friends KNIGHT FASHION OPTIONAL
I’d probably do what the Og did just use leviathans breath for this gm specifically. Since you’re weakening a lot it makes the tormentor at the end much easier imo
Shame, I put my mataiodoxia build in the discord last night but this featured one still puts in work, a lot of improvements to be made, but this is satisfying.
I usally pretty much run this same build, except i use getaway artist gloves, that with the mod that gives you class abiity energy from grenade damage, you can basically keep both he arc and solar buddies up constantly with a bonus grenade throw inbetween each recast of the arc buddy. That with the call, corrasion with volt shot and dragons breath got me first solo flawless lost sector the other day.
I made a short clip using this build maybe a little stronger but it’s even better with arc conductor wave frame ergo sum. I did a master lost sector somewhere near 25 under
You definitely want to use a kinetic here and not Dragons breath. Aside from that it looks good. A similar build with Outbreak or Khvostov (sp?) will perform much better.. Remember when you have the group suspended to shoot the tangle first if you can to detonate everyone.. that’s where the true power of this build comes into play.
Anybody else notice that threaded blast kills activate devour? I thought I was mistaken but I've tested it and it's very nice to have a way to clear a room and activate a buff.
Noticed something while testing a build simmilar to this one: For some reason, the arc soul on prismatic warlock doesn't jolt targets, despite using the Facet of Dominance fragment. I noticed it when I saw no jolt sparks being emitted from the target and the jolt chain lightning missing. I hope this is a bug and Bungie will fix it soon. I remember it used to work on the arc subclass, didn't test if it's still the case. Don't know if it's only supposed to work on arc subclass, but it feels wrong having your ARC soul replacing your ARC grenade on prismatic warlock and being unable to pair with the fragment.
this build becomes broken when you use khvostov with kinetic surges. You basically get transcendence really fast because surges give more energy and khvostov ricochets, making it really good especially with the one fragment. i run this build with khvostov, indebted kindness, and edge transit with the void artifact mod that weakening gives more damage with void weapons.
This was my build! Thank you very much for featuring me 😊 did my best here haha. One thing I forgot to mention is that transcendence can basically be used constantly due to the sheer amount of light and dark gen.

yeah, I have a build with Grace and Khovostov with bleak watcher and healing nade.
You could run weaver’s call to get darkness damage from the threadlings
Man little timmy must be so excited to see you upload so he can copy paste this build
When I first unlocked hellion I read it as Helen and I've just stuck to calling it that
So basically when you Phoenix Dive you summon your little buddy Helen, who sits up on your shoulder and spits hot fire at your enemies. “That’s right Helen, you go girl, slay them MFers!!!” 😂😂
Aaaaannnnnd now it will be called Helen from now on! We have Stacey Turrets, now we have a Helen one!
@@joshbaker1639 exactly!
Helen goes around touching everyone, she will make you feel hot but at the end of the day she will just burn you.
Also pairing with Wish-Keeper instead of the Call is a fun move too, with Hatchling or Vorpal
Run also with Red Death with catalyst and you add a lot of healing to the mix as well
Adhortative is a solar pulse rifle that can get heal clip and incandescent. It's also craftable. I'm sure you have the pattern unlocked from last season.
Green goblin status with all of the explosions lol, digging the build.
Great build! Tweaks one I came up with for this exotic. But agree, Phoenix dive > rifts 95% of the time.
Is there anyway to get it now? I didn’t play during that time
@@lukehardee4735 I believe it’s still obtainable thru the Starcrossed exotic mission, which will be up again next week if I’m not mistaken. Haven’t run that mission since TFS dropped but Datto said Subjunctive (the smg of the same weapon type) still drops so Adhorative probably would too I assume
Just look at what the exotic rotator mission is the next couple weeks and if it’s Starcrossed, run it and see if it drops for ya
You’re in luck, it’s up this week
@@kaiequigley7136 actually completed the mission and got it earlier today, rolled with incandescent!
My Guy Mactics is rocking the UK gear....GO CATS...👊
Yes running the meta with outbreak (or any strong kinetic like blast furnace and so on) makes this build go from 0-100 and gives more room for better fragments
Wouldn't have thought any content creator dosnt have a heal clip incandescent roll yet, especially since now two of them are craftable xD
I am one of the few blessed by RNJesus with a healclip inca heliocentric and let me tell you it feels better than the red death, I've racked 5 thousand kills with this little monster already I love it And I cant vouch for it enough
This was a build I made as soon as I got the exotic chest piece. Sooooooo good.
you are on point about the phoenix dive... i was wishing last night i had it ...damn healing rift got me killed like 3 times last night... super frustrating... ..i just don't have the new exotic yet...just started up my warlock again last week ...need to finish the story on my warlock still.. :-|
One thing I wish was on prismatic warlock would be icarus dash. Ngl I miss thar everytime I'm off solar
Yeah was a life saver icarus dash 😂
I miss that aswell
phoenix dive has faster cooldown indeed, which let you to pop it more often for your solar buddy. Also the cast time is way faster. So its easier to get your solar buddy
Reject consecration spam, embrace transcendence spam
Titans have lost their identity as tanks and paladins for years, instead becoming more melee focused. However I present a jack of all trades build which has self healing, damage resistance, crowd control and champion stunning.
(All percentages and buff times are from the Destiny Data Compendium and may be inaccurate)
EXOTIC ARMOUR
Stronghold
SUPER
Either glacial quake or bladefury for frost armour (up to 22.5% DR for 10 seconds) or woven mail (45% DR for 5 seconds), as well as harmonic siphon (stasis) in lower difficulty content
CLASS ABILITY
Thruster
MELEE
Frenzied blade to apply sever (enemy damage reduced by 40% for 10 seconds) OR shield throw for void overshield (50% DR for 10 seconds, sword block can make overshield last longer)
GRENADE
Pulse grenade
ASPECTS
Drengr's lash for AOE suspend after using thruster
Diamond lance for crowd control, unstop stunning and honestly the only other aspect to benefit this build
FRAGMENTS
Dawn
Hope
Sacrifice
Purpose
Balance
Dominance
WEAPONS
Kinetic slot - Dealer's choice. In lower difficulty content I use Lost Signal for area denial and orb generation, however double special is not viable in content like GMs
Ergo Sum - Match surges. Arc should be Arc Conductor, ideally wave frame, other elements with Wolfpack Rounds.
Heavy slot - Ideally an LMG, match element of Ergo Sum
ARMOUR MODS
See screenshot in Mac's Discord in #will-it-build, in higher difficulty content change harmonic siphon to powerful friends
KNIGHT FASHION OPTIONAL
this build looked sick asf def gonna try this
Thank you @BoberTee for suggesting this build, I was using a similar with Neserac, but this one SLAPS!
Love this exotic, been my staple since I’ve got it. Crazy!
I’d probably do what the Og did just use leviathans breath for this gm specifically. Since you’re weakening a lot it makes the tormentor at the end much easier imo
Finally a build I’m already using! Hell yeah- this one rips
The only class that can't double dip into that fragment, is hunter,
If you run void grenade on titan the transcendance chains lightning which jolts.
Dude, this exotic literally has 3 exotic perks! WTF?! Way OP.
been singing this exotics praises for so long now
A lot of people have been sleeping on this chest piece.
I'm not sleeping on it I just can't get my hands on the damn thing!
@@michaelbuttons uhmmm, Master Rahul has it
@@vampiszon6620 Yea I haven't reset him yet to be able to focus it
Mactics you gotta revisit stronghold. Ergo sum with arc conducter is nuts. You're just invincible and adds just perish
The Vex scout rifle from this episode (Timelost Wayfarer?) is craftable with heal clip/incandescent, maybe look into that.
And it's getting the 30% damage buff next update
Shame, I put my mataiodoxia build in the discord last night but this featured one still puts in work, a lot of improvements to be made, but this is satisfying.
Wow, just watched the whole video, build looks fun. I'll try it out next time I log on to Destiny 2: The Final Shape. I'm not a bot.
Solo flawless master lost sector sorry.
The vex solar pulse Adhorative has heal cli0 incandescent...prolly my favorite weapon last season and this one
That's actually an almost identical build I made yesterday. Only difference is the weapons, facet of devotion, and I have max melee
Titans can also double dip that void/arc fragment using Pulse grenade plus unbreakable
Adhortative vex pulse is craftable and has healclip combo. Great this season
Never knew my boy was a UK fan. Props sir 🫡
Great vid nice build. I suggest running your tests solo.
I made a short clip using this build maybe a little stronger but it’s even better with arc conductor wave frame ergo sum. I did a master lost sector somewhere near 25 under
It's a very good build. Lots of fun
Yes helion does proc devour. Also throwing a Tangle at an enemy and killing them with it procs devour (at least with swarmers boots)
This build is around for quite some time now. I roll with it since week one of the final shape started
Shoulda used a hammerhead with rewind rounds and desperate measures. With its origin trait helping your grenade and melee regen
Adhortative pulse rifle have heal clip and incandescent
Anybody else notice that threaded blast kills activate devour? I thought I was mistaken but I've tested it and it's very nice to have a way to clear a room and activate a buff.
Noticed something while testing a build simmilar to this one:
For some reason, the arc soul on prismatic warlock doesn't jolt targets, despite using the Facet of Dominance fragment.
Arc souls don’t count as arc nades, despite sacrificing one to cast it
this build becomes broken when you use khvostov with kinetic surges. You basically get transcendence really fast because surges give more energy and khvostov ricochets, making it really good especially with the one fragment. i run this build with khvostov, indebted kindness, and edge transit with the void artifact mod that weakening gives more damage with void weapons.
Hell -ian hellion
New scout rifle this season also comes with heal clip and incandescent as well guys
Feed the Void + Hellion is just free, constant Devour. literally any build can be made from this
You also have the Summoner that can have incandescent and healing mag
You perfectly nailed Mataiodoxia but Hellion is "hell yun." If you were a little kid in the south you were called hellion at some point. 😂
Going to try this next rotation on this gm
Love this, but just try it on the base strand subclass too, less survivability but so much more suspend
Can absolutely see that with mindspun invocation!
Aberrant Action can be crafted with heal clip and incandescent.
Yeah good idea to drop the Blake watcher strand and stasis just don't play well together, at least the suspending aspect
I use a very ver similarly build but I’ve been using final warning with a crafted incandescent/heal clip aberrant action and it absolutely cooks
Microcosm would be a good option for this build
"I feel like we can do better so I'm gonna tweak this build just a little bit."
Mactics: *Changes pretty much everything" 🤣🤣
LOVE this build!
Before i give my suggestion, do you happen to have the osmionancy+verity combo?
Can we have a dim link or build link please @mactics
Oddly destabilizing will activate devour devour too
