i think it was a way to show that the ghost brutality was not the same as mongol brutality,the ghost wanted to terrorise enemies,killing everyone who wanted to kill him,mongols terrorised tsushima killing innocent people
As someone who has always been told to hide or run his entire life, I think Taka's last words were going to be, "Tell Yuna I didn't run." In his last moments, all he wanted to do was make his sister proud.
Me too, the guy fucked me up in the first encounter tho, I was playing in hard mode and that was the hardest duel I had to face at that point, I lost count how many times he killed me. But then I was fucking flawless when I killed him the hatered I had for Ryuzo surely helped in that fight.
While Takas’ death itself is sad, what makes this even more heartbreaking was when Yuna starts questioning her brothers location and.... well the rest plays out hauntingly
Its kinda symbolical you know. When he took his sword from the mongols and went to the bridge to fight with Khotun Khan, the Khan throwed him off the bridge. This is the second time that Jin "dies". I cant explain it properly because im not so fluent in English but if you think about it there is a meaning

Literally when I killed Khan when Jin impaled him with the sword I said “This is for Tsushima!” then when Jin was about 2 cut his head off “And this is for Taka!”
We all have seen so many decapitations in games since who knows when. The fact that, the only decapitation scene in this game is so shocking, shows how they created something truly emotional, that captivated us.

Reaching this scene made me realize that this should have been the part they introduced the Ghost Stance, it would have been way more badass and emotional IMO.
In the face of death Taka, just the humble blacksmith running all his life from danger, refused the Khans request and died for it. Where as Ryuzo, a tarnished Ronin who was once a Samurai, buckled easily to the same request saying it was for his men. Yet when Death came knocking on his door, his men meant little more than an excuse he could use to beg for his life. Taka was more braver than most of the characters in this game, like a true Samurai.
I applaude Taka for being that brave, attempting to strike the Khan. If it was me, i would have ran to Jin immediately and cut him loose so we'll be free together. But anyway r.i.p. Taka

taka could've killed the kahn if he used hesitation against him -_- imagine he starts his swing and stops it mid way waiting for the khan to try to dodge the sword, and then as soon as he thinks he hesitated before and stops moving, taka channels all his strength on the tip of the blade and swings at the khan for real this time. Any true warrior would do that. This exact thing happens in sekiro. If we dodge too early, the opponent changes direction and hits us anyway
