- In my last video I showed that an archery build for Ghost of Tsushima can be very effective even on Lethal mode. In this video I wanted to show how even though enemies are more aggressive & strong, you're able to still take them out quickly, and in some cases quicker than usual. I really hope they continue the post-launch support of this game because I think they're doing a great job. Let me know if you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching :D

You know what’s funny, is that the Ghost is actually a more accurate representation of how the samurai really were. They would win by any means necessary. The honor aspect is sort of a fantastical element. Still love the game anyway.
Not fantasy totally they were super proud in duels and when starting war but once war began their were no honour just anything to win , Miyamoto Musashi one of the legendary samurai won all duels not only by skills but also using frustration and anger of his enemies,he was a Ronin tho, like western cowboys lawless
the honor aspect did exist, but that was more towards your own master then towards the enemy XD

What’s cool is how the game actually avoids health sponges and makes the enemies and the player a few right or wrong moves away from death. Makes it feel smart and intense. Props also to Mongol Armor which never gets represented in media.
Even on the hard difficulty enemies still aren’t sponges. (Except bosses) it’s awesome, even better on lethal when everything is one shot including your own attacks
@@pugforce8315 Dude Lethal is one of my favorite game modes ever. Both you and the enemy are just two slices away from death so everything is so intense. The only thing that's not so fun in Lethal are the duels though because you get insta-killed but your opponent becomes a Sherman Tank for some reason.

@@pugforce8315 Yeah but lethal duels are a different frustration. Until I just gave up and went full ronin attire with the damage and stagger charms, makes every duel a friggin cakewalk lol

Tbh tho health sponges are somewhat fun when you can string together combos and do really fun stuff, while also letting them have an element of skill to them. Travellers in GoW in my opinion are health sponges done right.

One thing I really want them to add is being able to reset enemy camps and shit. Like after you beat all the camps after the game.
At least that if new game plus cant be implemented
Yeah, they should also do a dlc where they add modes like hordes/waves of enemies that you can fight non stop bit like batman & days gone.
This is why I do the main quests first, left out the camps and forts until I finish the game

Man I would love that but when Farcry2 did it, apparently people absolutely hated that.
I kinda like how at 0:25 Jin is actually struggling to keep his balance on that rope. You don't really see that in most recent Assassin's Creed games.
Yeah it is a nice detail, It's funny when he makes "oop" noises aswell. But this isn't an assassin's creed game.

Beautiful. This is my favorite difficulty in the game, it really makes a player engage with it thoroughly to have a chance at success, and I find that incredibly cool.

Yes! And also a lot of games think that higer difficulty levels are just "ok, this is difficult so the enemies deal 10 time more damage, and they become bullet sponges." But no, SP made a great job, it really made the game more fun to me, and it's the first time i play in high difficulty. (Love your channel btw)
tbh during endgame, lethal mode becomes easier than hard mode since every enemy dies in 1 or 2 hits including the commanders. at least in hard I still need to hit commanders 4 or 5 times before I can kill them
@@whatthe9256 Lethal defiantly becomes easier than hard once you master defense. I think its more hard when surrounded by large groups, so you have to be really aware or get 2 shot 😂.

Even on lethal difficulty the Mongols attack one at a time as per the Samurai custom to fighting. However the Mongols historically attacked at the same time, the Japan accounts on the Mongol invasion showed us how unfamiliar Japanese Samurai were with full force attacks.

@@EliFarb there probably will be a second game. The mongol invasion in japan was a two-part thing and GoT takes place in the first one. We still have to see him fight the big horde

From my thoughts, this game is absolutely beautiful, I rate it 9.5/10. I like the story, about one samurai who lost his honor but rose up to become Ghost and defended the people and drove Mongolians out through brutal methods like poison even though he was condemned for doing dishonorable things. For gameplay, it's very amazing, the combat is very intense. I know it's not Assassin's Creed, but almost everything is similar to Assassin's Creed gameplay mechanics like parkour and stealth. Honestly, there are something I like to add, if I observe correctly, I see players use swords, bows and arrows, it would be flexible to use variety of weapons like spears and heavy weapons and use captured Mongolian weapons, but keep Sakai's katana as default and irreplaceable weapon. I don't know if samurai lets them to use captured enemy weapon and able disarm the enemy, I'm no expert. I think the game should have player carry the dead body to hide it somewhere for stealth or to lure an enemy to death or distraction just like Assassin's Creed. In this game, the enemies are mostly Mongolians and some other samurais, I would like to add Korean warriors since they aid Mongolians during the invasion, but I don't know if they were in Tsushima centuries ago. Maybe I wasn't pay attention, but the game seems to missing one thing, divine wind (kamikaze), when typhoon annihilated Monglolian fleet. Anyway, the graphics were amazing, I love it, the environment and landscape are really nice which made me feel that I am in Japan or Tsushima Island. I consider this is the best game of the year and deserve many awards. If there is sequel, maybe the story will talk about Jin Sakai will probably reclaim his honor, but keep his Ghost.
The Korean Warriors also aided the Mongolians during the invasion too,I've read it from the wikipedia.
@@R4D14NT72 I just researched it and Koreans were indeed at Tsushima Island. Like I said, the game should've add Korean warriors for not just for the fact of their presence on the island, but variety kinds of enemies and archetypes.
the only thing that historically true is the setting, Mongolian invasion in 1274 at komoda region where all 80 local samurai were butcher by thousand mongols at the beach. the armor is almost accurate. Everything else are questionable, even the jin's blade. they said it "tachi" in Japan Voice but what jin is using isn't even tachi(predecessor of katana). it's a katana shape that made during the sengoku era(1500-1600).
That's a fair rating i give it the same rating too i just finished the game and I already started my second playthrough on hard difficulty i can definitely feel the difference

I was going to say something about how it’s contradictory to say you’re playing as a samurai but still using stealth tactics but your video is the first I’ve seen where it’s a really nice balance.
The clue is in the tiltle. Its a game where you play as a samurai who transforms into a Ghost. Meaning he decides to defeat the mongols by using the dirty but efficient way, instead of the honorable but inefficient way.

I LOVE this. Basically how i play, except i dont do the difficulty. The black dyes are so nice!
Swifty there is an option that changes the hud to expert its much more immersive in my opinion. It doesn't show the enemy health or guard you have to visually see them breaking guard and with stealth you get a trigger that you are being seen but not a white bar in the normal mode and so much more.

I conquered this entire game in a week and can't wait for this DLC to come out already so I can conquer that as well. Sucker Punch make it a long DLC that is about the length of Jin's story. Been waiting for a open world Samurai game this quenched my thirst so far 🔥💯😎

Your standoff time seemed too slow for lethal mode. Does the parry talisman affect this for you or something? Cause my twitch reflex is pretty good but i get murdered in standoffs on lethal. With or without the talisman.

I got the game and played through it on hard the first run. On the second run I did lethal, and gotta be honest chief, that was so difficult. But I switch it back on here and there. Honestly such a great game.

A samurai is a very proud warrior to him his katana is the embodiment of his soul, so he feel any sword is unworthy, that’s why katakana is always an heirloom by samurai clans and also the Japanese saw foreign swords as inferior to theirs
@@kingarthur5651 but in battlefield they use spear and naginata more than katana for more useful. I think they should add them too
Sovetsky Soyuz yup in GOT 2 they should add Yari and Naginata it is the main weapon of the ashigaru (foot soldiers) and warriors monks, but the main weapon on the samurai cavalry is bow and Katana/Wakizashi
