That is so cool to be gifted something like that. Love the quote, "Tie in only the gear you'd like to keep." Thanks for the overview.

Thank you for sharing your friends cook kit. I’m sure it means a lot to you. I have the cook kit that my father used for us in the 1970’s and 80’s.

Thanks for watching. It does mean a lot. Ed’s passing was one of the reasons I started the channel.

I once found a medium Daddy handle at a campsite on the allagash. Next mourning a guide stopped by to grab it, he had left it there two weeks before.

@@Mainepolingguide Your channel is so helpful for me. This video has convinced me to change from a cast iron square skillet to the big daddy. Your the best have a great day!

If that was at Hosa B campsite near Musquacook dead water then that was me returning to get that handle and I was shocked no one had taken it!! Thanks again if it was you!

@@feenerproductions Yes that was me. What a great river, full of great people! I have considered a big daddy since that day and plan to get one for the next trip.

Very nice kit. Mr Eaton made it simple an compact. He must have been a joy to be out on the river with. Nice video Lisa. I like the handle coming off for packing the kit.

Efficient cook kit. Like the pan size advice. Hopefully, I 'll retain and use it! Thanks for the video. If this was recently filmed, where did your snow go. It is still knee deep here.

Filmed recently yes. While making maple syrup over an open fire. The rains came and snow was gone on one muddy weekend. I’m in West Gardiner, fairly mid coast.

With my cook kit, I could make a meal for one. If I had Eaton's kit, I could make friends.
