The fact that they included all 7 of the original Z-Fighters definitely made it worth the watch. I'd love to see that happen again in the future. Also, when I first saw Turles, I used to think he was Goku's second older brother or something.
Another thing is that Gohan's Dragon makes his TV Series debut in the Garlic Jr Saga, before Goku returned to Earth, futher making it impossible to place.

I remember getting into arguments on the Dragon Ball wiki years and years ago with people who kept trying to place the movies into the timeline. Like people would try to say that world's strongest and several other movies took place during the 3-year training period for the Androids... And I'm like dude, The only one that could maybe possibly fit there would be Cooler's Revenge, and even that is a stretch due to inconsistencies.
Because Toei wanted to incorporate Hire Dragon/Icarus into some episodes (generally in filler scenes). Sometimes they just ignore continuity for fanservice, just like how they did the Garlic Jr. filler arc despite Dead Zone also not being really feasible.
Icarus as far as I'm aware never appears in any canon episodes in DB. I believe he appears in Garlic Jr saga which of course is filler. He also makes a cameo in the driver's license episode. One of the GOAT fillers, but still filler. I think Goten references him when training with Gohan when they see a similiar creature, but I've no idea if that is canon or not.
I thought it was a known fact that these movies were essentially "summaries" of a season in the main timeline of dbz. I think we all know they cant happen. They are more like what if type movies. I do like content you put out in the video, but not the theme of "why cant happen." Something I would like to see, is you addressing why these movies are summaries of the dbz timeline and compare and contrast like you did in the video. This is just my criticism on it though sending you love and energy friend.
Funny you say that, because there will be some Terminator music in an upcoming video, but it's actually a mix between the Japanese and U.S. DBZ and Kai soundtracks.

That's what drew me to this movie. Every fighter had some involvement even if they didn't last too long
Just wish they got to shine a bit more and not just job to turles's men who swiftly job to goku.
Canon or not the movies are still very important to the series. Worth watching all of them for true fans
