TL;DW - New Infest mechanic allows you to deal massive AoE damage if played around properly - Single target damage is massive, one of the best RGKs in the game now (a bit behind Inna and around on Invoker level) - Essentially you want to avoid small pulls and either go for pure single target or massive pulls - The gameplay is much more fun now because it's not just "stand still and throw spiders" and your positioning matters a lot - I'd like to see another small buff to the build's supporting items in the range of 2-3 tiers (~50% damage)
Could you please test the Necromancer? I`ve watched other youtube channels and it seems that Necromancer is the less desirable class to play in the incoming season while Demon Hunter and Monk are the best
The Arachyrd Set can use an amulet (a seventh piece) that will allow for another legendary to synergize with the set such as the 50% attack speed pet gloves, the mimic mask, and/or the depth diggers, as the Zuni Set can use shoulders (a seventh piece) that will allow for a much needed legendary to synergize with the set such as the pet gloves that increase 50% pet attack speed, or the 20% cold damage and freeze enemies gloves.
Honestly, what is missing in the game permanently (not seasonal) is a fourth slot in the cube, which can be provided by all sets as a default when one has satisfied the six-piece requirement, otherwise what is the point of creating so many legendaries if no one uses them in the game...
Why do new features like on Lumumba, and other WD Mojos on older Primals, differ or not have the abilities of new weapons, bracers etc. Now all my WD primals are obsolete?!
Wish the infested was easier to apply (i.e. taking other dots maybe?) and the thread would just reduce the enemy dmg to you so you can still play around it to gain the max benefit. Think its gonna be my favorite pet build though
have you tested stacking issues with multiple witchdoctors? can 2 WD stack infested on the same monster ? and if a monster is infested does the other WD get the bonus on his corpse spiders?

What the designers of this Set need to do to fix it is to have the permanent Spider Queen provide the WD with 100% armor and increase the damage of Corpse Spiders by 350% and allow to spawn six Spider Queens that deal their total damage per second, have the cord provide the 75% damage reduction and the infestation of enemies, and the webs can provide another multiplier such as slow enemies by 80% and reduce enemies' resistances damage dealt by 35% permanently when they step on them for example.
A better mechanic is to have the web spawn by the Spider Queen decrease damage taken for 20 seconds and to infest enemies who step into them permanently taking 350% more damage from Corpse Spiders and 100% more damage from all other creatures.
I think it’s super cool that they still put so much work into seasons and reworks while the game is almost 10 years old. That said, all I really want is auto pickup for mats and gems.

A better designed will be to have spider webs spawn under the WD that last 20 seconds (providing him with 75% damage reduction for a long time) under him when he casts Spider Corpses to enemies (similar to the former Toad mitigation mechanic). The spider cord between the WD and the Spider Queen should provide 100% armor (in the 2-piece bonus) to the WD and infect all enemies that it touches causing them to take triple damage and lower their resistances by 35% (in the 6-piece bonus). Last but not least, the Spider Queen should attack (otherwise what is the point), damage can be equal and triple the damage the selected Corpse Spider rune does (will be a good mechanic) and allowed to spawn five more Spider Queens to spawn when the WD is attacked that provide each 5% damage reduction to the WD while they are out (at the 6-piece bonus).
What killed this Set into mediocrity is the deletion of "Corpse Spiders double their attack speed", the permanent Spider Queen does not attack, the Spider Queen rune only deals 175% poison damage (laughable; it should deal at least 800% poison damage per hit for 15 seconds) and it only spawns one spider queen (at least seven should be the minimum), having to stand of the Spider Web to get 75% damage reduction is absurd (which means that when the WD is not on it is like a rag doll to even tiny monsters), instead the web cord between the Permanent Spider Queen should provide the 75% damage reduction, a seventh piece of the set is needed (maybe a ring to provide another buff like all creatures attack 50% faster or you can Spawn three Spider Queens with any Corpse Spider attack that deal their total damage per second for 15 seconds and each increase their damage by 5% per hit) another legendary can be worn to synergize with the set like the 50% pet attack speed gloves or the mimic mask, and last and not least, it is not clear what infest enemies is or what damage % or multiplier it entails, why not just be clear and state for example: "enemies who walk on the spider web become poisoned permanently which reduces their damage and resistances by 35%, taking 35% more damage by all creatures, and 300% more damage by Corpse Spiders.
That tiny web from the big Spider to the Witch Doctor to infest enemies is a poor design, it is unwarrantedly negligent as the fact that damage reduction only is applied when the WD steps into the web and 4 seconds after, which is an excellent formula to force the toon to get into the middle of the fight and get himself killed. A better design of this set which I recommended to Blizzard a long time ago which fell on the foolish deaf ears of the designers of the Set: (2-piece) A Spider Queen is spawned permanently by your side dealing 4,500% poison damage for 3 seconds and granting you 100% armor, throwing 30-yard webs in the battlefield that infest enemies permanently allowing them to take 300% more damage from your Corpse Spiders, and 100% more damage from all your creatures. (4-piece) The Spider Queen grants you 75% reduction permanently and takes 50% of your damage for 4 seconds when you are hit or attacked. (6-piece) The Spider Queen transforms into the mythological First Spider dealing its total damage per second and granting leadership bonuses to all your creatures increasing their damage by 20,000% and allowing them to deal their total damage 50% faster, and to spawn up to six Spider Queens when you attack with any other Corpse Spider rune, that deal their total damage in half the time and each increasing all your damage by 12% and damage reduction by 3%.
PTR just closed on Friday (Nov 19th), I'd expect the end announcement on Monday (Nov 22nd), pretty much in-line with what wudijo predicted a few videos ago.
Tbh, there wont be any point playing the next ladder since every part of all classes already been completely drained during PTR by no-lifers more or less.... no suprises, etc...
I doubt it, there will be a lot of fun discoveries by some mega blasters over the season because the time on PTR wasn't really enough to check out all the super low tier builds

in the PTR, arachyr was pretty tough to do in group play due to the lag in brought, do you think the changes help the lag?
first version was quite laggy but second version didn't seem to have much trouble with that
im more curious how it plays off season since i used to love the idea of it but sadly it was pretty bad and the only build was fire bats
