The thing which looks really fun about this is that it’s got a bit of a different flavor. A lot of these channeling builds really go in for intense area damage, try to make giant pulls, and I just never had the knack of that. I like just grinding through and killing what I find, so the style of this seems really tempting.

Raxx is the best gaming personality as far as I'm concerned.
For HC Id probably replace the rings and ammy with the endless walk set and a unity ring on you and follower. This also allows you to get rid of bola and replace it with another skill

This is good but marauder has already done 150’s. This is just another option to play but I don’t think it’ll be as powerful for solo pushing.
DH has been the #2 class just behind Monk for the past couple of seasons, GoD DH is infamous for speed farming Marauder is infamous for pushing and now Shadow's rework will do wonders next season with the strafe power so we now have 3 very viable sets in the game fir DH heck even UE can benefit from the new strafe power, Hopefully Natalya gets a good buff and DH will be sitting pretty everywhere
Anyways im just hoping the make the Crusader Powers MUCH STRONGER OR REWORKED ENTIRELY: IM LOOKING AT YOU JUSTICE HAMMER
@@TMind109 UE is better than GoD for farming on good maps with the new power, but GoD overall is still probably better. It is still really fun though to shoot multishot in all directions.

I would just love a season where it doesn't take you ages to get to 2k+ paragons unless you play in a group or 5+ hours per day. I usually give up at around 1500 (and this season only because the EN boost, else i usually don't go past 1200-1300) because i cant' see the pushing as a profitable activity when paragons calculator says i will take 40 hours to get from 1500 to 2000 gons and 40 hours is my ONE MONTH playtime.
I hope that D4 will be less grind dependant.

Barb can probably push higher but isn't as strong for speed farming. Thats about all there is to it I think 🤔
@@grosChat wwrend is one of my top 3 favrorite builds, I’ve just always hated having to use the spear to pull mobs. I do love me some god dh though. Guess I’ll run both?
I feel in the high end barb needs to be able to pull more density while DH not so much, but barb will def have has a higher celling to push higher.

I've always wanted to like the Shadow set, perhaps I finally will be able to.
Anyone having problems with hatred generation, use seethe until around GR90 (or whenever you stop one shotting everything). Karlei's point requires you to hit the same monster twice to trigger
I am sad about my favorite class, Crusader. Was really GoPro play as main this season but doesn’t look like it will happen.
Huh? Crus looks really good 1400para 150 in 12min and thats only blessed hammer there are other that can do 150 too
Im doubting between WW Wastes Barb and Strafe Knife DH for this season as main... any suggestions / Pros and Cons?

I used to do full clears with my DH, when I played HC.... Haven't really done it with my SC DH's, but heck why not ;)
140 with 2500 paragon AND seasonal theme isn't really high, is it?
Yeahx started playing it last night and I agree with you. They still need some work. I think if they add 100 percent more damage and say 20 percent more damage reduction it would be where it needs to be to do 150 solo at perfect gear and high paragon. The devs did use my 10 magic missile idea but looks like the wiz is dead anyway 140s right now, and i doubt they will fix the DH because the new patch broke more stuff. great video and walk through

With the new Guardian set buffing your gear-stats, does it ever make sense to gem for stats rather than diamonds for all-res?

Will be fun to play with shadow again. But i see after your first death you forgot to put shadow power on again.
The weakness is that M6 ray of light is a stronger push build :( Wish I could compete on the main LB's with StrafePale instead, but it would need like a bump on the holy point shot from 100% to 200% to be on par.
I'm not saying you know people that know people that might know a guy, but just sayin! :)
What about when farming lower GR's? Fire, Ice or lighting rune?
I think lightning bounce rune will be best for speeds.

that s the first build i thought of when i made my dh on this ptr and before the patch i got it barely to work with 3k% boost missing from 2p setbonus. but i already like it and with the latest changes it s just awesome
Love the look of this. My interest in this season has just increased 40 fold.
I can see a Barb with the WW pull and a DH using this Impale setup doing some amazing clears. Barb segregates the bulk of the trash and CC's everything so DH can work on the elites in safety and the rift is done and dusted.
I had a random thought for this, maybe worth trying?
Let go of the vengance cooldown and take the 2 pirces from the crossbow instead. Yea, you are even more frail, however you might have an easier time by hitting 3 instead of 1 enemy. Even with little mob density it should be easy to get the extra hits. I just have no idea how the temporal loss of the vengance damage increase might affect that...
I'm looking forward to the WD vid. Definitely wanna see if it's worth it cuz i really wanna play something different this time round
i havent had one drop on the ptr yet, but would vallas bequest or whatever its called work by making you impales pierce? not sure how much it would help. ive always used VB on my GoD DH though lol.
It would give you a few more impales, and with GoD it’s worth about 3 tiers, but there’s no room for it here. You need the impale dagger and quiver and a cubed dawn.
If you want piecing impale you be better off switching to the cold rune. Why because using Valla's Bequest means you have to give up Dawn and 100% uptime Vengeance or you give up the dagger and lose over 99% of your damage.

I've been testing this build with cold and it works pretty good, but I have to try fire. Never dawned on me about f&r, I feel like such a nube. I was having trouble with hatred running 100's. Will go up to 110 and fire. Try to stay alive.
This was the first post patch build I played and it's awesome, I try not to fight more than 10 guys at once. Dmg gets to watered down
how can I get a primal to try out the new powers on ptr ?

I've never had a harder time deciding what to play for season launch.
No matter what I've tried, I cannot stay alive for the sake of me, even in a GR120, not enough damage and I just die, at like 28k main stat
Do a guide for WD bogadile. Saw Rob playing it and cleared GR150 looks really fun.
I think bogadile will be nerfed... Like vengance rockets and storm armor-randomly kill enemy...

The sad part is that you normally get players that just want to speed run greaters, if you are this slow, (which i like to kill big mobs) most players will leave you behind and they will be on the next floors speed running.
if you shred the RG that easily, but took a rune designed for rgk (fire rune) . . . why not go with cold or lightening to make the way up to the boss go faster instead?. . when lightening ricohcets that much it doesn't matter as much that theirs a lot of trash. . and you get better chances against a rift guardian with adds. . . i'm assuming the chemical burn doesn't stack and just refreshes?
Even though chemical burn don't stack it 's the only rune that adds damage to the skill and it a large amount of extra damage.
@@mattm8870 the+330% on cd rune does es as well. But that'd come down to frequency of impales and crit rate
I was more considering if the AoE ones which all nearly double impale dmg on a crowd or more, would outweigh fire in the long run. As the rg isn't alive that long . And there were a lot of instances where lightening ricochet would've cleaned house faster.
Cold likely isn't an option since you aren't clustering them as much for the pierce.
I played Monk main last two seasons...but I'm casual, not a grouper, and always hardcore. I love dh, but looks pretty squishy so will prolly go Back to Barb. Ha.

Most likely he's using the Numlock trick.

might be a stupid question, but unless you have a stupid amount of cost reduction, how are you not running out of hatred while strafing, is the bolas giving that much or is there something else here
obviously I mean the channeling cost of strafe unless the monsters are surviving long enough to be hit multiple times by the impale and having its return 15 when it hits an already impaled enemy
The weapon he has cubed is called karleis point and it refunds the hatred cost of impale if the target has already been hit by an impale, even when strafe is throwing your impales

@@alexmort9223 he actually has dawn in the cube and the dagger equipped for the shadows set bonus but I am just not used to it returning hatred as I normally only see that with GoD and it just didn't occur to me at first that the dagger power would be returning the hatred even from the ones thrown automatically

i test it several gr 120 with 1300 para and no pylon take. it take average 2.5 to 4m. it is literally wizard Magic Missiles before nerff from 20 to 10.definitely need some adjustment or they need buff some others classes power to that level of DH theme power.
nope this is how it should be with the season theme, he has 2,4k para and probably good leg. gems too.
around 3min for gr seems fine to me for grinding games.
i probably wouldnt use b.o.w. rings though since casting primary every few secs is annoying for me. also elusive ring grants dr for 8s when using smoke screen and there s a rune that removes diszi cost and adds a 6s cd ;)
So this build or the sentry build ??

Yeah I am not building a Glass Cannon type of build....LOL I have also been told not to ever use Area Damage because it causes Lag when playing.

It’s weird that the strafe build, GOD, is the least powerful this seasom
I haven't played the PTR for this season, but it looks like GoD will still be viable for pure speed farming because of those momentum stacks (with the vengeance rockets power). Above GR 90 though, definitely switching to one of the other sets with the strafe power.
Legit took away everything that made dh builds unique and made them all god dh lmao
