I have a question: how do I register a sound recording with the library of Congress multiple owners. I wrote the songs, possess a signed agreement for an unlimited non exclusive leases beat. The agreement does not prohibit me from registration the sound recording.

Hi Mike, you would choose the SR form, but there are other requirements. Have you released the music before? Do you have a copyright certificate proving the music to be yours? Check to see who the distributor of the music is and start there.

That’s a personal choice. I feel that once your songs are properly registered and protected, I feel that the laws provide sufficient remunerations and relief should any infractions occur.

@@majorseventh1 if someone infringed on your work, an entertainment attorney then is what you need to file an injunction and an infringement case. The laws when ruled in your favor provides substantial financial remuneration for the infraction.
