The management agreement the original 360. Nothing wrong with a percentage of everything if you're helping the artist, songwriter, or producer with their career. Especially in the early stages.
I don't agree, but if that's how you feel, great!
@@TheMusicBusinessMadeEasy what don't you agree with

If I just signed up as a songwriter with BMI yesterday, would I get publishing royalties owed to me from years back?
Meaning, I was never registered with any PRO when a few of my songs were playing on the radio and streaming on Pandora's non-interactive platform.
Does this mean, the moment I'm officially registered with BMI and enter the information of my current songs as well as previous songs played on the radio/Pandora, I will get all the royalties owed to me?
Unfortunately, you won't get back royalties (only the ones caught during the last cycle) because when those stations and platforms were surveyed and the music used were reported, there was no one to track the music back to. I'm glad you signed up. Be sure to set up your user name and password, set up your bank account in your dashboard and register all of those songs. You will begin to get royalties and payments for future plays and streams. Also, it's possible to get some of that money, because the payments are always behind. In other words, you'll get paid let's say for the next quarter for the last payment cycle. I don't know it off of the top of my head, but it's never a payment for the current quarter. Hope that makes sense.
