Got a knocking sound from our front , changed both front shocks still got it. So will check these both next.
Condolences to you Dan and your family. I lost my Mum last November, total surprise. My Dad in 2013. It gets easier to deal with over time, but when you think about it, it's still raw. You both look happy in the photo.

At idle i hear a light soft rattle underneat the car..when I trottle up it goes away..seems to com from the placr where the armrest is but it is comming from under the chassis...could it be a heathshield..
Any ideas for the cause of a loud knocking sound from the rear end - mostly when just coasting - almost disappears when accelerating or braking. J10 AWD model.

Hi bud. There are similar control arm bushes in the rear suspension that could be at fault. Also check under the boot floor incase its something as simple as something rattling around under there.
