He’s a great writer probably knocks out a script in 30’min and records within 15 and then the video background itself is usually the same stash of recycled random switch clips aka HES A BEAST
i think he is just extremely passionate about all of this stuff. in order to be really good at something over a long period of time, you gotta be at least a little obsessed
It's genuinely impressive you can pull off quality scripted content this consistently. I know there's not much editing involved, but it's still crazy you can write good scripts this fast on a variety of topics.
1:12 I think the much bigger challenge from a "curtailed reveal-to-release window" is keeping the hype alive and the room it gives to your competitors to outshine you in any way they can.
Why does the thumbnail for this video go so hard? In more sophisticated terms, the title screen for this video is really clean and aesthetically pleasing. I bet that thumbnail gives this video 25% increase in views and 50% increase in likes, and I predict that both of these have a 60% likelihood of being true.
I've always thought that the Switch 2 launching before or in early summer was a shoe in tbh, kids will have free time which means more time to be bombarded by Switch 2 content from their favorite influencers, some more well off families would probably buy Switch 2s as a school year's end gift, it just creates the perfect atmosphere for kids to get obsessed with getting one.
I hate that the Switch 2 rumours keep getting pushed further and further back. We're now at the point where the blowout presentation is supposed to be happening nearly a year later than when the console itself was originally said to be releasing. I feel like the donkey chasing a carrot that that's actually attached to the donkey, such that when the donkey moves, so does the carrot. We never seem to actually get any closer to anything.
2 things: I’m wondering if the launch of GTA 6 would actually affect Nintendo’s lineup at all, if there’s anyone who can not care about gta 6 it’s Nintendo but still I have to imagine they are considering it somewhat Also in terms of early Switch 2 titles I think people need to consider fire emblem a lot more, the rumored fe4 remake is probably coming (I hope anyway), probably being done by the three houses team, and on top of that the engage team has been down since like 2021 or 2022
Very interesting stuff! My birthday is the 16th of june. I'm hoping it'll come out before then, with an interesting launch title, and I could get it for my birthday!
Here I assumed the system would release in May because I felt Nintendo was testing May as a viable month with TOTK. Hearing your side, June definitely feels more likely.
A video on the prospects of a multiplayer launch title, based on previous launch titles (both primary and secondary), isn't a bad idea. I'm not sold on Nintendo deciding to go multiplayer game at launch with Mario Kart (or Smash Bros.) They have never before had their biggest launch title for a new platform be multiplayer-focused. Not even two-player simultaneous, outside of perhaps New Super Bros U on Wii U (and most would consider Nintendo Land was positioned as the bigger title.) Its always been a single-player-focused game. (And I don't really mean games that can be played by more than one player but are primarily solo, like Tetris for GameBoy.) The simple reasoning is that buyers have to have friends who are also buyers to take full advantage and this is much harder to pull off at launch than after a buildup period. Granted Nintendo wants to rollout a lot of units at launch, and may be doing it specifically to make a multiplayer game launch title possible, but it may actually hold sales back a bit from people who want to play MK against friends but simply won't be able to because they've not saved up for it, have their disposable cash tied up in other summer activities, or still can't get it for any number of other reasons. They might well have a multiplayer title as a secondary launch title, but it'll be smaller scale, like 1-2-Switch was. A solo player game that would take longer to complete and be a better showcase for the new hardware's controls and mechanics seems like the safer bet, so I'm leaning Mario 3D at launch and Mario Kart later in year. Though if both arrive at launch at same time, that is best of both worlds and instantly satisfies everyone.
It's a very good point. To be honest, 3D Mario in June and Mario Kart in Sep/Nov wouldn't make that much difference but would give a single-player launch.
You sir have become one of my favorite UA-camrs when it comes to Nintendo news, forecasts, history, and general information. The way you present the information here is very professional, it’s without hype or hoopla, and you mainly cover serious topics, and not the typical Reddit and 4chan rumors that other Nintendo UA-camrs seem to cover on a daily basis. Thank you for your professionalism, impressive journalism, and please keep up the fantastic work! 😊
@@RuuyG this is the most rumored piece of machinery ever created, if ANYONE knew the date other than furakawa himself without writing it down it would have leaked. Even if he has it written down somewhere private it leaks. Which means he probably just has a vague idea.
@@minecrafter3448 complete bs, you know nothing about rumours and you can't even think logically. If information got leaked with a few people knowing of them, it would be very easy to track the source, and the person would be sued and never get a job in the industry again. Things leak when they are common knowledge amongst at least dozens of people, and usually come from business partners outside the company. Believe me, as soon as Nintendo plans anything, they start talking about dates, this is business, you have to plan a lot ahead for things to work out.
Fantastic video as always Nintendo Forecast! One thing I would like to add is that a switch 2 release in June would coincide with Summer games fest (June 6th 2025) and most likely big summer games showcases from Xbox and PlayStation at around that time. With Nintendo often tending to prefer to take the spotlight last, both at E3s and with the more recent June directs being close to the end of the month, I feel like the 19th or 26th of June would both be ever so slightly more likely than the 12th
If they don’t feel threatened by GTA VI releasing in Fall 2025 then that’s how much confidence Nintendo will have in their next generation and brand new titles if it really is a Holiday release.
My prediction: April / May: last switch exclusive game: Metroid Prime 2 and 3 June: 2 launch titles (Mario Kart + 3D DK) August: Metroid Prime 4 September: Causal game (like Nintendo sports or Nintendo land successor) October: Pokémon ZA November: 3D Mario January: zelda wind waker + twilight Princess (also on switch) February: Animal Crossing March: Splatoon April: 3D Kirby
Traditionally Nintendo makes no effort to match game releases with series anniversaries. Merchandise releases, yes. Game releases, no. There’s no reason to think a Mario game will come out in September specifically.
There's some precedent with SM3DAS and September is distanced enough from the November slot that you could have two big games (see also 2022 with Splatoon and Pokemon). But I agree there's no necessity for them to tie it in, certainly not to the month.
There is no way it will launch with Mario Kart. It will be 3D Mario like VGC reported. As Reggie stated in his book, Nintendo is very aware of the fact that it's the most hardcore who buy consoles on launch, MK is a bad launch title, it doesn't matter how much the previous game sold, it's the same thing with the Wii U and NSMBU. I would skip the launch if it's just MK and some other garbage party game.
How do you make these as fast as the low effort mass production channels that just ramble without a script?
cause he’s that guy and nobody is fucking w nintendo forecast
@ That makes sense, this is my headcanon now

Thanks. I wasn't too happy with the thumbnails for the last couple of videos but I was pleased with this one.
@ You succeeded, my friend!
guys I figured out when the Switch is coming out, Wikipedia said it's coming out March 3rd, 2017
Nobody shared the rumor of Star Fox Adventures announced early next year. You heard it here first

The problem is the new 3d Mario wouldn’t be a launch title if it meant to be for a September title

Well we have concrete information from nintendo now that the thing will be revealed in this business year, so we have something solid now

Your videos feed me more excitement and hype than other click bait channels that feel hollow in comparison.

The idea that we would get a big E3 style direct right after the console launches would be amazong for hype and sales

I like the idea of test running a big launch though.

146,000,000 isn’t “milking”’ tbh bro that’s SOARING.
I don’t think Nintendo even knows. Rumors seem to have no idea, the date would have leaked with so much coverage by now if there WAS one
I agree although I expect they'll have a working assumption.
Of course they have picked a date already. Exact dates do not leak this early at all, you don't follow leaks that closely.
@@RuuyG this is the most rumored piece of machinery ever created, if ANYONE knew the date other than furakawa himself without writing it down it would have leaked. Even if he has it written down somewhere private it leaks. Which means he probably just has a vague idea.

my name is June… the thumbnail got me

I already have said the same since months, reveal in february, release in June ^^

If i wanna go at night sleep im tune ur talk on and in 5 min im sleeping! thx bro!
What is Nintendo's view on games that have sold 5-9.9m units?
Don't we kinda know that Pokémon Legends Z-A is a Switch 1-only release going by the Game Freak leaks?
I said for months that june is a good timing, Summer is a deep "blue ocean" ^^
My prediction:
April / May: last switch exclusive game: Metroid Prime 2 and 3
June: 2 launch titles (Mario Kart + 3D DK)
August: Metroid Prime 4
September: Causal game (like Nintendo sports or Nintendo land successor)
October: Pokémon ZA
November: 3D Mario
January: zelda wind waker + twilight Princess (also on switch)
February: Animal Crossing
March: Splatoon
April: 3D Kirby
2025: Welcome to Year 7 of Unconfirmed Leaks of the Playstation sounding Switch 2.
I hope they call the Switch 2, the “Switch U”😂

Buddy, you’ve got to stop mentioning Mario Bros 35 even just in a banner at the bottom, it still hurts that it’s gone 😭😭😂
4 views in 19 minutes , bro is coming back
i wouldn't be against it if Nintendo release the switch 2 in 2026 or 2027
Me neither tbh, I’m supremely confident it’ll be great so let them cook
Me neither tbh, I’m supremely confident it’ll be great so let them cook
Yeah, personally it's less the new hardware and more the new generation of big games that excites me.
@nintendoforecast and the possibility of advance wars dual strike when they launch NSO DS games of course 😁
