Where I work one of the main welding jobs I do I use a Miller mig wire feeder as a hand held cold feed. It works well except the slow speed I require is near the bottom of the scale and is very touchy in adjustment. If the wire speed dial is from zero to 100 my use is from about 5 to 7.
