I feel like this is something a teacher would show in class, and you would have to write down this stuff with questions they give you.
damn that description just took me to a much time in my life :(
Hahaha
“write down 7 facts you got from this video” 💀
true
Hmmm
I've followed the game for nearly 60 years and never gave that much thought about what's in the ball until now. Thanks for a great video.
The way he emphasized “ concentrate on their skills” at the end is funny because it means you can’t blame the ball
Wow this is one of the few things in this world that are actually made by hand in some aspects. Awesome!
I kind of can't believe those strips are put on by hand.
@@mdarrenu Ikr!
@@mdarrenu Right!
It's for the NCAA ball. I doubt it's handmade for all wilson basketballs
@@egg-iu3fe That's what I'm thinking. Else I might just buy a Wilson basketball because of the amount of care that was taken into its production!
1:03 thats what the basketball at my school looks like
Facts, they have some deflated balls that they want us to use 😂
faxxxs
You forgot the huge bumps on it.
Spalding messed up massively with the 2006 ball they felt like sandpaper and actually cut your hands
Yea
nba players did comments on it and one of them fingers was bleeding i held that ball and its was a nightmare
@@StarOneSeblix it was so dry and if you have weak hands rip my fingerbones XD hahahaha
Xonrox DETR lol hhahahahhahahaah
Hmmm
Absolutely crazy how much of it is hand assembled. I wonder if that’s still the case these days.
Video looks like it was reuploaded from a while ago, so likely not
@@firkejdjneii28283 some of the steps are still required to do manually (like the strips they put on after the carcass)
No it’s not
Yup parts of the ball can still only be done by hand
no wondr it costs 100$ for 1 ball. prolly still made like this.
I was surprised how much of it is actually hand-made. Very interesting
I rely miss this show, yeah there's thousands of videos like this on UA-cam but the vibes and Narrator just DIFFERENT
Nice video. Amazing!! It takes a lot to make a ball. We do take this for granted.
I'm thoroughly surprised this process isn't faster and more automated, like a machine that spits 30 basketballs out per minute
they need it to be precise
Thanks for showing me how to make my own basketball at home
A home made ball is what I want to see 🤔⚽😂
По русски давайте пожалуйста😅
😂 😂

Came here after seeing the chinese version of "how it's made"... what a difference...
Me too! I wanted to see how a leather basketball is made since the other video was just the basic playground rubber ball being made.
I saw it on Imgur

Fun fact: The makers are all basketball legends
Yeah actually they make basketball

I loved the narration! Very nice video :)
Great video! 💯💯💯
what teachers teach: basketballs are made of rubber
the homework: the rubber makes the ball bounce better

you already know someones bout to make a bastetball lore meme
We saw this in class and then Wilt Chamberlain came in and gave us all free basketballs ...I am not sure if this happened or if it's a dream I keep having.
You should ask classmates or teachers you had when it happened, cause if that's true it would be a great story
This video looks like it was made in the early 2000s, so it's a dream.
it's true, I was Wilt Chamberlain
