It took the UN makeup version of kiss a while to figure out just what their look was going to be...... the earliest attempts were pretty much in keeping with the hair metal stuff lots of neon and whatnot.... but eventually they started to migrate back towards black leather and by the album Revenge they look positively amazing again even without makeup
Yes Paul is one of the best voices. I'm music KISS the best band ever in rock and roll business do you one of the best you got the best this is the truth kiss will live forever the hopes and dreams that their music has pulled me through the years and I'm going to miss them
Kiss did 2 concerts in Detroit in 1990 at The Palace of Auburn Hills during their 1990 Hot In the Shade Tour (May 18th and October 14th). This performance comes from the October 14th show (if any of you have Kissology 2, this'll look familiar. There is a much more complete version of that Oct. 14th show out there, Kissology is not complete cut)
This is not Paul's best vocals, my favorite is I Still Love You from MTV Unplugged. 19996. I actually recommend you take some time out & watch The whole show, it is amazing.
Off topic, can you both react to a band called Circle Of Dust and their song " Prayers of a Deadman"? The album is considered Industrial and the album " Brainchild" came out in 1994. I'm convinced you'll enjoy it considering the musical style of your own band. Circle Of Dust is a one-man band. He played and recorded and wrote all of the music. Merry Christmas
I saw them on this tour and it was hands down my favorite show of the unmasked era. Sadly, this was the last tour to feature the phenomenal Eric Carr, as he would pass away a year later.
Those other frontmen that you mentioned (apart from Hetfield) don't play guitar full-time whilst performing live. Anyone can twirl a microphone stand lol
I’d still have to go with Bach for number 1, but this guy is in the top five with Bach, it’s not that the others don’t have top rate vocals, but Bach and Stanley have tone, range for days, but their low notes are insane. Like A Million to One by Kiss and lead vocals by Stanley, unreal, and if you listen to Bach covering Man in A Box with AIC as a Layne tribute, or his cover of Children of The Damned the tone, range, low notes, distortion, it’s incredible and you instantly know that it’s Sebastian, and their vibrato is distinguishing, I would also add Elvis in the top five, and if you want to live dangerously, check out Conway Twittey, country with a voice that will blow your mind. I think on his cover of It’s Only Made Believe, Elvis was going to record it, heard Conway’s and said it couldn’t be done any better…Don’t quote me, but going to see if I can find that quote, and you really should react to Aguilera’s James Brown tribute, I’m honestly surprised that you’ve never done a reaction video for her. J/s 😬
So I couldn’t find any stories other than Conway and Elvis meeting at a show in Texas in 1971 and it ended with them having a chat and Elvis singing It’s Only Make Believe, and apparently there’s other covers but no one does it like Conway and you should have a listen.
great song, bad decision to review the live version. Live versions are iffy, so many things can go wrong. Plus most vocalists on a long tour (and this tour was mammoth in scope and # of shows) will not go for it live like they will in the studio because they know they have to make it through the tour without blowing their voice out. I didn't even watch the review, and I don't ever watch reviews of live performances of songs because they're not representative of how good the song usually is. Why people review live performances of songs (unless they've already heard the studio version) is beyond me.
Love Kiss of all eras.
All eras. All lineups.
Underrated KISS song. Personally one of my favorites.
Good to see you back Suzi and Travis cool reaction love kiss the best and Merry Christmas to all of you love ya

Unplugged 1995
Paul sounds fantastic here

Paul is amazing and was before 1980

Eric Carr on the drums!!!! Long live The Fox 🦊

Tommy boy is right about Paul! Most talented lineup of KISS ever.
Paul Stanley is one of the greatest front men ....
I was there after they played Saginaw
Paul in his prime EATS Axl & JBJ alive without even warming up...
🔥😎🥰
😊
Also recorded by Ace Frehley and Bonnie Tyler…all 3 versions are brilliant
Molly Hatchet has their version as well.
I like the one with ace better bit more raw 🤘
I think musically ,the Ace version is better, but vocally, Paul is better.
Hi! What about Bonnie Tyler's version? 🙂@@chrisoakley5830

Do Children of the Night or Fits like a glove from the same show.
I think you mean Creatures Of The Night. 👍
Savatage hall of the mountain king

Ace's version is head and shoulders above this placebo 😛
Actually I think both versions are equally great
